I am going to recreate an Instagram tutorial from somebody
I am a huge fan of and I'm so inspired by her name is Valerie femme
Pretty sure that's how you said Valerie Pham. Um
she is basically a
Makeup artist that does most of her work predominantly on Instagram
I believe and her looks are just
so
creative and inspiring
I want to challenge myself today and try and recreate one of her Instagram looks so if you want to see me attempt this keep

Let's jump into the video. All right. So let's let's just pull up in scrim here. So her Instagram name is v al

so I did prep my eyelids with the
Makeup forever full cover concealer she has an a super super super light concealer on the base of her eyes
Which I'm sure helps the colors to stand out. This is one of the lighter concealers that I have
So we're just gonna have to work with this this and again, I'm doing this because I really want to challenge myself
she is just so creative and her work is so precise and like perfect in my mind that if I can even get
Remotely close to what? She does. I will be like so excited
So, let's see. The first step is she takes a dark brown and she buffs it through her crease and kind of like this
Sort of shape right there
so

So I do not have the UH Nastasia palette that she is using but I do have my violet Voss Holy Grail palette
Which I absolutely love
It's one of my favorite formula eye shadows on the face of the earth and has a lot of very very similar colors
so it's basically a dark brown and looks like she's taking a
kind of like straight edge brush to
Basically dive right in here. Okay, so
Rush's precise enough. Let's grab
And she makes this pretty dark so I'm just going to
Go over with a few layers
Okay, first up. Let me catch up the other eye real quick. Okay. So now it looks like she takes a
More defined brush. This is the morphe M 506 brush and a dark brown shade
So I'm gonna mix teddybear and brownie points and she buffs it
Right above where she drew
That line
I do feel like hers looks quite a bit darker than mine. So I am going to take
Who?
Maybe this little brush right here. This is the Sigma II
2010 bear and just darken up that edge
Okay, well this is what we have so file to it we do next
Okay, okay
Yep, do that
Alright, so now she buffs an even lighter around above that
I'm running out of space on my eyeball
it's almost like an orange e Brown above so I'm gonna take transition and hash tag and just
Gently kind of buff and go over
Did I feel like looks okay, this one is struggling a bit it's like patchy
Hopefully we can pull it together and I feel like so far just really record. I don't think it looks anything like hers
But maybe I can pull it out in the end. We will see it
So then it looks like she goes back in and darkens everything before she goes in with the concealer. So I'm trying to find a
good brush for this
So I'm gonna tap back into teddy bear and I'm just going to
Basically try and darken everything up one more time
Okay, so now she goes in with the concealer and carves everything out. So
That is what we're gonna do. I'm use the same Make Up For Ever concealer
It's not as bright as hers. Unfortunately, I think that really helps the colors to stand out
But I don't have really a concealer that light unfortunately, so I'm just gonna do my best with this one
and basically we're just going to carve right underneath where we
Did all that dark brown
Mm. Okay. Um, what is what is next year what?
What am I gonna fail miserably at next? Okay, so she sets it
she sets the
lighter shade there that we put down with a
Cream color, so I'm gonna take thanks a lot. It's not a super bright white, but I
Think it'll be okay
Looks like she just sets down all that concealer
And then she takes a foiled gold shade
Which toffee looks pretty close to what she used but I also might go in with the Laura Lee
oil shave because it's
really oily and it looks like she use something that like I I brought out some loose glares because I actually thought she used a
Loose glitter for that but it looks like it's just a shade of something. I also this bareMinerals
That's pretty foil II as well
what looks like she leaves a space and she puts it on the inner part of her lid use a brush to
Be a little bit more precise. So I am going to take a synthetic brush brush brush
And I'm going to dampen it with a setting spray
and
Take some of that. Oh natural from the Laura Lee nudie patooty palette and
Just duh. Alright in this
Shade works so much better with your finger
And we put another shade on the outer corner of our eyes, so I'm just going to
Take that a little bit of the ways. I'm feeling so much follow on my cheek
Okay, so she does like a rose gold shade in the corner of the eye so I think I'm gonna take
Topless maybe on a shader brush. I'm gonna wet it so it's nice and
Pigmented so topless is from again the nudie patooty palette
Okay, so this part it's gonna be tricky this is where she does the gel eyeliner and she does like
She does like a double wing which I've never done before so I am
Cautiously optimistic
I mean so far I I
don't even think this like comes close to measuring up to her work and I I
apologize, and I'm just not as talented as her but
We have to try different things once in a while. All right
Okay, I'm going to take my little dose of colors eyeliner gel eyeliner here and so I think she goes

I don't know what that is. Really, I'm gonna have to clean that up with a makeup wipe. Whoa now for the other side. I
Do not have a buttercup yellow eyeliner
But I do have the Anastacio Beverly Hills lip palette. So I'm going to try and create a similar color and
Do that liner?
My god, I don't even have any words right now
All right guys, so this is it so far I don't really know what to make of it
This is never in a million years something I would do on myself. I don't think it's a
flattering design for my eye shape
And hers looks about roughly six thousand times better than mine. So, I don't know. I don't know how to feel about this
There's so much to this. I like okay. I need to line my waterline with black
Put a solid black color on the lower lash line
We need to add some glitter to the top
When does it end does the charger grab on some black lower liner?
Which I normally don't do because my eyes are relatively small and I feel like it closes them off a lot
Now I'm going to just take a black
Eyeshadow
She also highlights the inner corner of her I would like a really cool toned
Highlighter so I'm gonna use hmm
My name is stark from the nudie booty palette. I feel like that's pretty similar to what she used
And just pop that right in the inner corner
Okay, and then she adds some liquid glitter over top that foil and I actually have the same product that she
use it's the
Midnight Cowboy by Urban Decay
Alright so the very last step is just to add a little bit of a warm
toned brown on the lower lash line, so
I'm gonna take a little bit of tangerine and a little bit of cinnamon mixed from the East Beauty palette
Well, I'm gonna pop on some lashes and when I come back I will show you guys the final look
This this was a struggle. I'm not going to lie
This was not an easy task and I think if I were to start all over again and do it again
It would probably turn out better
but this is my very first time ever doing a look like this and I feel like it almost looks like
drag makeup on me because it's so dramatic and just so something I'm not used to and

Think I need a little bit more practice before I can reach her level that's for sure. So let me pop on these lashes
