school here and to all my great classmates and teachers who have shown

me what it means to be a leader and how to learn about business especially the

Business Scholars Program the Greg Goff strategic leadership program and the

student investment fund for giving me an opportunity to learn about finance and

take a real deep dive into it.

Ny name is Abe Bakhsheshy I'm a Daniels Fund Ethics Initiative director and professor and also professor of organizational

behavior. I wanted to take this opportunity and congratulate all the

wonderful parents for the support of a highly dedicated group of education

seekers that now they are graduating from this series of wonderful programs.

We are proud of these students who did the very best they could with all their

heart and soul to make this journey possible and it would not have been

possible without the support and love and help of wonderful parents who made

this incredible journey possible for each and every one of them. If I may I'm

proud to say that two things I noticed particularly this past academic year the

first one was the participation of our undergraduates in the Ethics Case

Competition that they did an absolute super job. The second has been the

unbelievable level of effort in pursuit of quality education on the part of our

graduated students who are now ending this wonderful journey. Thanks to each

and every parent who supported our students, the best is yet to come for

each and every one of them, and once again congratulations for all your

support and thank you very much for everything you've done to make this

journey possible. Thank you.

Hi my name is Summer I'm going to graduate from the Master of Science in Business Analytics program I feel so honored this

achievement would not have been possible without the support of my parents so I want

to express my thanks for them. You have to me the greatest gift of all, an education.

Thank you so much, you are the best parents in the world.

Hi my name is Kevin Nhan and I am graduating with a degree in Operations

Management. Hi I'm Valeri and I'm a career

ambassador here at the David Eccles School of Business. We just want to go

including my parents and siblings as well as all my friends in terms of

faculty and staff I want to thank all of you guys as well

couldn't have done it without you guys Buzz, Alayna, Rich, Latu, Mike Brammer

the rest of BCS, you guys are all amazing I wish I could name all of you

guys right now. Dawn Wardell has helped me out so much

as well and my family. And I definitely could not have done it

without the support of my amazing professor, professor Scott Becker and Victoria

Cabal and everyone at the Business Career Services, and everyone

that has been part of Association of Latino Professionals for America. Go Utes!

Hi my name is Kira Wachter and I am a graduating honors marketing student and

it feels like just yesterday I was a freshman business scholar

stepping through the doors of the Spencer Fox Eccles Business Building

with no idea what I wanted to do with my life, I didn't even know if I wanted to

study business, let alone that I would carry through with it

through the next four years and end up being a marketing major who has had such

amazing experiences in this school. I've had fantastic faculty who have guided me

through every step of the way and been mentors and inspirations to me to have

the best career I possibly can in marketing, and I've had a fantastic study

abroad, great experiences working for the school and I couldn't have done it

without my two amazing parents Tom and Christy Wachter. I love you guys so much,

I'm so glad that you've given me this opportunity to go to this David Eccles

School of Business and receive this education. It's the greatest blessing of

my life. Thank you.

Hi my name is Latu Kinikini from Opportunity Scholars this is a shout out to all of our Opportunity Scholars graduates for 2018

congratulations and continue to do amazing things.

Hi I'm Stefano Corsini I'm a student in the Masters of Science in finance ready

to graduate as many of here today and I just wanted to take a

second to think everyone who has made this possible. The faculty have been amazing

but especially the leadership in the program - Regina Mavis who believed in

me that first time I came on the tour. Danny Wall, Abby Reiser and Alyson

Goyette who have been paramount in helping me select classes. Deborah Hansen

who has taken an amazing leadership of the program and we wouldn't be able to

do anything without her. But especially to a very dear friend to me, Greg Bisping.

Greg, thank you so much for being someone who believed in me from the beginning,

who has coached me and has helped me become who I am today. I think that this

last year has been very formative and the classes have been amazing, but

without your coaching, your leadership and your friendship, I wouldn't be able

to take the next step that I'm about to to take. I'm so excited for things to

come and always go Utes.

big the dream. Thank You Raypa for being my partner in daydreaming, and for

letting me know that there are no limits to day dreaming. And Suvi, thank you for

being the voice of reason for making sure that in spite of all of this

dreaming my feet are firmly planted on the ground. And Mutu for being the

brightest star in my universe right now. Thank you all of you.

it was all all worth it. And I should also thank professor

Well my name is Judd Hauser I am an MSIS graduate student I took the slow boat to go through my graduate

program, took me about three years there were a couple of professors that

really helped me and when I got the opportunity to say thank you I felt like

I couldn't pass it up. First was Professor Norwood, man you are a rock

star when it came to my capstone you were so

willing to meet with me and just help me through it we did so many brainstorming

sessions in your office I worked so hard to try to give you and the program

exactly what it wanted and you just don't know how much I appreciated your

engagement so I don't know if you'll see this or not but if you do I just want

you to know that's a heartfelt thanks. And the other professor I wanted to

mention real quick was my data mining professor I was so nervous going into

that class everybody said that was going to be the hardest course through the

program I took it over summer and professor Yang and I know you're an PhD

candidate but man in my book you got it. You just walked me through that class

over and over all the concepts all of my lousy stupid questions you didn't make

me feel bad you answered every one of them I don't know how I got through it

without you so man you're great I really hope you see this and you know how much

I appreciate what you did for me. And then last I wanted to say thanks to

Kathy Brown, man for an advisor, top of the line there every time I called you

could meet with me answer all my questions and help me told me not to

sweat it that I could get through this class I could get through this class

just work hard give it everything I got and I'll do okay and I followed your

guidance and leadership and here I am ready to graduate so Kathy I appreciate

it and I just want you to know how much I appreciate all you did for me the

whole program is terrific and I love it I love the school so.

Kitchen Volunteer Training Video - Meals on Wheels People - Duration: 3:20.

Welcome to Meals on Wheels People! We are excited to have you volunteer with us.

With your help, we come closer to ensuring that no senior will go hungry or experience social isolation.

So let's get started.

As a volunteer, the first thing you will do when you come into a Meals on Wheels People Dining Center is check in at the Volunteer Kiosk.

Once you have checked in, please connect with a Meals on Wheels People staff member to get you started for the day.

For safety reasons, it is important that volunteers follow the appropriate dress code in the kitchen.

Long pants or jeans, check!

Shirt with sleeves, check!

Closed-toe non-slip shoes, check!

Hairnets, aprons and gloves will be provided to you at the center. You should always be wearing these while in the kitchen.

Remember to wash your hands every time you enter the kitchen, before putting on gloves, before and after you leave the restroom, and every time you switch tasks.

Also, remember to change your gloves anytime you would otherwise wash your hands.

This includes when you touch your face, when you take out the garbage, when you pick things off the floor, and when you handle raw meats.

Always practice proper food and personal safety procedures while in the kitchen.

Further training on this will be done on your first day, but here are some general guidelines:

Avoid leaving food out for extended periods of time.

Dishes go from the dirty to the clean side of the dishwasher, never the other way around.

Always be careful when handling a knife, hold it properly, and tuck your fingers in while chopping.

Keep the floor dry to avoid slips, and mop up spills right away.

Burns are the most common accident. You can't tell if something is hot just by looking at it, so communicate when handling hot items.

Know where the first aid kit is located, and report any injuries to Meals on Wheels People Staff.

And don't forget to have fun!

Volunteer needs and tasks will differ at each center, be sure to check in with Meals on Wheels People staff for center-specific tasks.

Once all the tasks have been completed you're done for the day!

Congratulations! You've just finished with the Kitchen Volunteer Training Video!

Thousands of older adults rely on Meals on Wheels People every day.

How to embed a YouTube video into Canvas page - Duration: 2:41.

Hi everybody! In this video I want to show you how you can embed a YouTube

video into a Canvas page. We're looking at a Canvas page right now, and I've got

a Youtube video that I want to put right here in this spot, so I'm going to go find

that YouTube video. It's a nice intro video from Janue here that I'm gonna

embed into that Canvas page. So once I've found the video I go down to the share

options and I'm looking for the embed code, so I'm gonna click on that embed

button. One thing that's really handy about embedding it is that then you can

when you scroll down, uncheck the box that says "show suggested videos" when the

video finishes. So I definitely want to uncheck that box because that can be a

distraction at the end of our video, right? So then we hit "copy" and that's going

to copy the embed code that's there at the top of the screen. And essentially

that's all I need on the YouTube side of things. And I come back over to my Canvas

page, and I'm going to go edit that page and I'm going to find that spot that has where

I want the video to go but I'm not pasting that HTML code in here instead I

need to go to my HTML editor. I click on that HTML editor, and you can kind

of use the markup to figure out where things are here, but I know I put a

couple spaces in mine so actually if you go back here that would be a reason to

hit enter a few times if you kind of want to help yourself find exactly where

you want the video to be. So there's my five line breaks my five spaces so

essentially now I'm just going to take that and delete those, and hit

control V, or I can do right-click paste, and now you can see what's been added is

this iframe code so the embed code from YouTube is this iframe HTML and now when

I go back to my rich content editor I can see that that video is displayed

beautifully right in the Canvas page. I hit save and now

I've got a nice-sized video player embedded directly into a Canvas page and

I don't have to worry about those distracting related video suggestions

displaying at the end of this video. So that's how to embed a YouTube video into

a Canvas page. I hope that helped!

Delivery Volunteer Training Video - Meals on Wheels People - Duration: 3:30.

Before you leave on your route, make sure to double count your meals! It's important to check that you have all the meals necessary for your route needs.

You don't want to make a second trip.

A Meals on Wheels People safety vest is available for you to use.

We ask that all volunteers wear a safety vest, not only for your safety, but so that our participants know that it's Meals on Wheels People coming to the door.

There are several ways you can navigate on a route.

You can use our mobile app, you can use your GPS, or you can follow the directions on the route book.

Make sure to follow the instructions for approaching each home.

Know which door to knock on, and how to access the building.

Deliver all the items listed for each stop, then take a moment to say hello to the participant and ask how they are doing.

This is a very important part of volunteering with us.

Many of our participants are isolated and we need to check in to make sure that they're doing all right.

And while you're out there, don't forget to have fun!

Please do not attempt a delivery if you feel unsafe for any reason, and report any issues to Meals on Wheels People staff for follow-up.

Such issues may include aggressive pets, unsafe conditions, or concerning behavior of the participant.

If no one answers the door, check the route book for any special instructions.

If you are unable to deliver the meal, Meals on Wheels People staff will follow up on the same day to ensure the safety of the participant.

Please do not leave the meal at the door. You must see or hear the participant before leaving a meal, and do not enter the residence unless invited in.

A route could take up to 90 minutes. Once you are finished, return all the equipment back to the center.

Be sure to check in with Meals on Wheels People staff about any changes or issues on the route, and give any in-kind donations directly to them.

Congratulations! You've just finished with the Volunteer Driver Training Video!

Thousands of older adults rely on Meals on Wheels People every day.
