I deliberately chose to study at THM Business School, as the practice-oriented focus,

proximity to Frankfurt and independent project work will provide me

with a smooth entrance into my future working life.

The THM, University of Applied Sciences in Mittelhessen,

is now the third largest in Germany in the area of the universities of Applied Sciences.

Our department itself, the THM Business School, has 1,500 students,

including 1,300 in the bachelor program of Business Administration

and the other 200 students

are divided into four Master's degree programs.

We can say that we are also a little proud

of the results that we get from independent accreditation agencies,

which we achieve with our teaching, our didactics, our approach that we pursue.

For example, in the last ranking, CHE rated us very positively

with the result that we were able to place ourselves among the top groups in the national comparison.

International because, of course, we also maintain and expand our internationality beyond regionality.

With double degrees, international partners and study abroad opportunities for our students

Giessen can definitely be called a student city

because more than a third of the population are actually students.

The Seltersweg as the central shopping street of Gießen

offers a variety of places for shopping, restaurants and bars to relax.

The city park is very well suited not only to take a rest

from the stressed everyday life,

but also to study or to meet up with friends and have fun.

For those who want to be active in sports,

the THM offers a wide range of university sport activities,

where everyone can find activities that he or she likes.
