nail art or Nail Polish is a very simple concept - designs or art that is used to decorate

the finger or Nail Polish or toe nails.

They are used predominately to enhance an outfit or brighten an everyday

look.

Seen nowadays as more a fashion activity and something that allows for creativity and expression

of one's own style, the nail designs or Nail

Polish and art are considered to be a significant area of fashion and beauty.

Different nail designs and nail art can be found on the latest catwalks of the best designers,

Hollywood stars and celebrities will often showcase the hottest new nail trends on the

red carpets, and of course anyone from their own home can

create nail art or Nail Polish to match their mood, outfit or artistic personality.

History originally saw nail art or Nail Polish as being a show of social class, and the more

extravagant the higher class you were considered.

These days it is available to everyone and has exploded in

popularity, so much so that a documentary NAILgasm, was released to explore the growing

trend of nail art from subculture to high fashion.

In January 2014, Nailpolis: Museum of Nail Art was founded

You may even want to get a kit with nail art pens that allow for you to draw directly onto

the nail, getting a totally unique design of your own.

If you're thinking about getting into nail designs, a nail art kit might be the ideal

starting point.

You can buy nail art kits from some of the biggest retailers.

Cutest Little Soldier - Dybbøl Battlegrounds | Denmark Travel Video - Duration: 13:12.

Good morning guys and welcome to Sønderjylland! Dybbøl! Yeah!

We we're visiting Dybbøl Banke, which is like an old it's not a fortress

I don't even know what it what it's actually called. It's a place where we

have a big battle with Germany back in 1864 and it's kind of like a big deal in

Danish history because we lost a big chunk of Denmark to Germany! Yeah, and Denmark is not too big to begin

with, so losing part of southern jutland

was a big deal. So we're gonna learn about that it's right around the corner

from the campground where we stayed and I can't wait to explore this more!

Max is running around he's with my parents. Yeah, so we're gonna explore the area see the

battlegrounds and then they have a small little museum in there where we can

hopefully learn something yeah

This is the front loaded one, and he was telling us about so they had to put

the powder in, they had to stamp it down and then they had to do some stuff

down here before they could shoot and when they were in the military base

where they had warm fingers and they were just training they could do it in 37 seconds

but this battle was fought during a winter which was actually not

normal a lot of times they just like went on break for the whole winter they

just went home and then they resumed the battle in the spring when the weather

was warmer but they had a really tough time loading this bad boy when their

hands were freezing cold so that's part of the reason why Denmark lost this

battle because the Germans they had a back loaded one so they could lie down

and load it and they could fire seven shots at the same time the Danes could fire one

He was telling us that this building behind us it's of course it's a replica

but they built it - and in general they built buildings and they fought wars the

way that they fought the last one and that's not very forward-thinking I am

not sure this just applies to Denmark pretty sure it was just a general thing

but they had these buildings and they were actually supposed to be like, it's

an old-fashioned bunker and the ceilings were two feet deep so sixty centimeters

They were built because the old kind of cannons they had like fire balls that went

like this and they would almost always land on the roof so that's why they were

really thick on the roof line but then in this war the Germans they switched to

another kind of cannon and it shot a lot more directly so they actually had fire

bombs going through the windows so they had to instead dig down into the ground

it was very inefficient but it was kind of the only option that they had in

general don't fight a war but if you're gonna do it don't just repeat what you

did last time because that might be a bad idea!

Do you want to go to the bunker?

Look at this door! That's very thick and these hinges - crazy!

All of Scandinavia actually fought here to keep Denmark Danish so this monument over here shows

that there was Denmark Finland Sweden and Norway

hence the four corners yeah excuse for the blanket it is pretty cold this

morning it's not super cold but he likes warm weather and it's just like a little

misty so we're kind of waiting for the sun to burn it off. You're wearing wool yeah

I'm a Dane I come prepared, right? Once the Germans conquered this area they had a

whole like a big memorial thing up here and that of course got torn down so now

they're just a whole bunch of piles of old rocks that's all there remains

because the Danish resistance during the Second World War

tore down, they did not wanted here anymore that didn't want to be

associated with the Germans apparently and so they tore down now there's

nothing but it has a great view from here!

It's so funny, they've completely rebuilt this whole area and I'm really not a big fan of war

but I love history I think learning about history like this I think

it's so interesting and I love making it fun for Max as well so if I can pass

that on to him the fascination of history, that would be awesome and

just learning about it so you don't repeat it I think is a big part of it

and just so you can enjoy what's actually around you and what people

sacrifice before you so you can have what you have

Look at this!

So beautiful and peaceful here now and it hasn't always been

You want to take a nap here? This is where the soldiers used to sleep

One big communal bed! I guess they could pass on the heat from one person to the

next but the mice were actually also very easy to get to the next feet

And eat all your crackers!

When you first enter there's an introductory movie so I'm just

gonna watch it it was 20 minutes and it gives a brief overview of the whole

history and the events leading up to it - it's getting loud!

I want to give you a brief review of what actually happened in this area because as always when you

have a border country, areas have belonged to different countries for

different periods of time that's just the way it has always been in Europe and

because this part is the country - the area right between Denmark and Germany -

it has belonged to both Denmark and Germany for long periods of time

The southern part of Jutland was Slesvig, Holstein and Lauenburg, three 'fyrstendømmer'.

These three 'fyrstendømmer' were a part of Denmark but they were not a part of

the kingdom and what happened was that the Danish King won the northern part to

be part of the Danish Kingdom, the other two southern parts they did not want the

three parts to be separated and this of course caused a big conflict

They had a war and Denmark won so they kind of remained as part of Denmark but

about 10-15 years later in 1864 is when there was this big battle. The ultimate battles

took place right on these grounds and Denmark ended up losing that

war so we lost all three of those 'fyrstendømmer', and that was actually

40% of the whole like Danish land area

So Denmark was reduced to just almost half the size which is very very small

This mill is featured on so many things dating back to that war and I think it's

because the couple that owned it was very very positive for the soldiers to

be around so they really contributed a lot in keeping the morale high so I

think that's why it's kind of iconic from Sønderborg, which is in there, you can

see the mill cause it's up so high and it levels like goes down very steep into

the city so I think that's why it's so significant because they - and they of

course they used it as a lookout but it didn't really have anything to do with

the war, in any other way so...

We are going on a bit of a hike so we are just strolling down these fields and

this is where the Germans they actually used to dig trenches to get close to

What are these things called? It's like a defense thing. The higher ground where

you could keep watch it with the area? Yeah but they had like ten different

stations and I actually don't know what they're called in English but they had

ten of these like defences spread out on this hill and then the Germans they

needed to get close to them so during the night they dug trenches to get

closer and closer that's the way they conquered this area so we're gonna find some trenches maybe

You see all the bumps in the field? The soldiers would lay behind all these

little bumps and shoot each other. That's funny that they're still here I thought

they would have been like evened out by now but nope! After the First World War

when Germany lost the Allied forces decided that that the northern part Slesvig

had to have a vote whether they wanted to belong to Denmark or to

Germany, the southern parts they were German there was no question about it

but the northern part so they had a vote and that's how the new border was placed

the northern part went to Denmark and the southern part went to Germany and I

think this is a very very cool way of deciding where a border should go the

border has been that way and in that exact place ever since and I'm fairly

confident that it will stayed just like that. Now obviously this is a very long

history and very complicated so that's why we checked out the museum and they

gave us so much great info so if you want to learn more about it go to the

museum for sure! Up at the Dybbøl History Center it's what they call it

we had a guy tell us different things and it was very interesting and one of

the things that he told us was about the clothes that the soldiers they wore and

he told us that it was customary that under their woolen coats they wore just

like cotton shirts and they went down to their knees and then they had like a

slit all the way from there up to here and you know why? Because underwear did

not exist so they just took the bottom of the slit and just like tucked it -

one part down, the other part forward and then they had underwear and then he

noted do you imagine the smell when they had to finally pull that thing over

their head after two weeks? Ew! But he was great and I highly recommend

that you go there if you're in this area

We really enjoyed checking out this History Center and I think I even

mentioned in the beginning that there was a small Museum there and I don't

know why I've never heard more about this museum because it's great and it's

not even that small like it's kind of smallish inside but it has a huge

outside part which is fantastic so you can just walk around and explore on your

own as an individual it's great but if you're a family too - that's amazing I'm

trying to include the ticket prices to the places that we go in Denmark in my

videos recently because I want to give you guys a realistic view into what

prices look like in Denmark. Scandinavia in general are in the higher price range

of places you can go on your vacation but I just want to show you this

beautiful country. If you're going to Southern Jutland and want to see

different things then consider getting the "Star ticket" - it gives you entrance

to this historic centre, Sønderborg castle, and Universe which is a science park in the area

And you get all of that for 295kr. I'll put the euros and the

dollars on the screen but that is a great price and you actually get a

really big discount I really recommend that that's what we did and we saved a ton

I really enjoy sharing this beautiful country with you guys and I

just want to ask you - have you ever considered coming to Denmark for your vacation?

If not maybe you should! Well I hope you liked the video give it a

thumbs up subscribe and share with your friends it helps me reach more people

and we'll see you guys next time for more southern jutland exploring. Bye!

Video Workshop | 🍞...Breadcrumbs with Tyler Harris - Duration: 1:01.

What's up, guys?

We are out here in Arizona, I think we're actually in Mesa, Arizona, right now.

Just got back to the hotel.

It's almost one o'clock here, so it's four o'clock back in our east coast time.

But had a great day today.

We helped teach a video workshop with Kolby Kay.

And I think the people that attended got a lot out of it.

A lot of tactical stuff they were able to take away and be able to implement in their

personal branding and their businesses.

So, it was awesome.

TJ did an awesome job.

I got up there and taught a little bit of stuff.

Kolby crushed it.

And there was just a lot of good value that was provided.

And as you guys know, I've got this larger emphasis on having a deeper connected conversation

with people.

And I'm able to do that now at scale when we go places.

Just connecting with so many people because, when you come to an event like this, like

Meltdown in the Desert, when you're surrounded by like-minded people, you realize that those

conversations are a whole lot more easily accessible.
