a two-year-old boy smoking a cigarette while adults in the background laugh. The

video went viral in Russia and some people were outraged. It was eventually

removed from YouTube because it violated Community Guidelines. Oh man. Do

you think this is gonna hurt the child's brand deals? He's gonna have

to make a whole anti-smoking documentary, release it on his YouTube channel to

hopefully keep all his fans. A few UK publications are also reporting that the

child in the video uses a homophobic slur to refer to people he knows. The

news outlets covering the story in Russia never mentioned a homophobic slur

being said, and we don't speak Russian so who really knows what this kid is saying.

Might just be saying, "Mmm. This ciggy tastes good." Police discovered the video

originating in the city of Vladikavkaz in southwest Russia. According to Radio

Free Europe, the toddler's uncle was given a fine of 3,000 Rubles

(about fifty bucks). He said giving the boys cigarettes was "just a joke, to make

fun." Well, Russia's Ministry of Health isn't laughing. The video is probably

less shocking in Russia than it is in the US. Russians are amongst the heavy

smokers in the world. US? All my friends smoke. Really? Yeah and I go oh get away

from me. According to the W.H.O. 44% of Russian adults smoke, including 60% of

Russian men. In fact, a few years ago Russian officials tried placing a

partial ban on smoking in public, but it was promptly ignored. One Russian woman

named Julia said: "I think it's unfair toward the smokers. To smoke is a

personal choice. It will be like the law against drinking in public, which doesn't

work." Yeah. I mean that baby loved that cigarette.

You shouldn't deny that baby that cigarette. That's what I'm hearing from that woman.

Let's take a look at some of the outraged comments. Toni Backus: "In any

language this is horrible. I hope that the parents have been punished. What are

they thinking. You need to take a test and receive a license to drive a car but

anyone can have a child." RaidersNana said: "Someone knows these unfit parents

b*tch slap them for me. Thanks." This video comes just a few

months after a boy in China was caught lighting up on camera. And you'll almost

certainly remember this Indonesian boy who made headlines back in 2010 for

smoking 40 cigarettes a day.

Fortunately, that kid kicked the habit.

Now nine, Arty's in the fourth grade and one of the top students in his class.

He's no longer smoking or overeating, but rather focusing his attention on

excelling in the classroom. So what do you guys think? Do you think there should

have been a bigger punishment for the uncle giving his nephew a ciggy to light

up? Let us know in the COMMENTS down below, and for more stories like this go
