Hi YouTube, welcome to SeaJay's vlog. I'm SeaJay and this is my very first YouTube video.

I know this is my first video, and so it's gonna have a lot of weird jump cuts,

I'm gonna be awkward, I'm not gonna know how to do this.

I mean I've taken one semester of video production so I'm no expert, but

hopefully you'll join me on my journey of figuring this YouTube thing out and

you know what, maybe we'll learn something in the process. A big problem

that I always face is that I don't clean my room all that often, and even whenever it

is clean, it still is sort of disappointing and I think I've

purposefully allowed it to keep me from shooting YouTube videos. I think I've

always been really nervous and so I've decided for my first YouTube video that

I am shooting a clean my dirty ass room video and it's sort of gonna mark my

transition from being way too scared and coming up with tons of excuses to not

shoot a YouTube video, into finally feeling comfortable enough that I can

pursue my dreams. And so it might be corny or cheesy, this might be the most

boring vlog you've ever seen in your life, but it's for me and I think that

that's what this vlog is about. I mean, it's called SeaJay's vlog. It's for me. And so I

think that this is cute symbolism but also is a good way to keep me from just

awkwardly being in front of the camera and not knowing what to say and not

knowing how to say it. So my room right now is really really dirty and that's

kind of been on purpose. I decided to shoot this video about a couple weeks

ago and since then I have stopped any progress I had on cleaning my room and

in fact every time a mess gets made now I haven't touched it because I thought

oh well you know the dirtier my room looks the better the video will be. It's

gotten a little out of control and I keep wanting to clean it but I keep

thinking oh but it's for the video. So I'm shooting this during fall break

which means I've been at college for over two months now and I still haven't

finished unpacking. So we're gonna go through this adventure together... I guess

let's just jump right into it.

I do not believe in sheets. I have the fitted sheet, I have blankets, that's it.

Sheet's just extra.

So I have a hearthstone pillow for those of you who have never played World of

Warcraft or Hearthstone from Blizzard... or "h-earthstone", I know that some

people call them "h-earth". I learned it hearth I don't know, but

this is one of my favorite things and is actually from an ex but it kind of

proves that not everything in that relationship was horrible so...

It gets super cold in my apartment so multiple layers are necessary.

Making progress... it's moving faster than I thought but it's still not fast enough

I think it's time for pizza..... yes I'd like a medium Philly pizza light sauce...

yeah sure... and how long do you think that'll take?

Okay I'll see you then! Thank you. In approximately 30 minutes

there will be pizza. So right as I was about to change angles and do a new

thing, hang some art and stuff, the pizza

arrived so... dinner break! Listen I'm not saying that I have it

worse than other people or that my life is hard, but my first piece of pizza lost

all the toppings. So it's not always sunshines and rainbows over here.

Damn, that's still good.

So now that I am full of pizza it's time hang some artwork. And really, by artwork,

I mean records.

Aaaaaand done! Ta-da! So I realized how late it's gotten and I have a pizza waiting for me

so fast-forward to tomorrow with the finish results. It's been a couple days

since I shot the original footage of me cleaning my room and that's because some

crazy *honk* has happened in the last couple of days; the craziest being I rescued a

kitten? I rescued that kitten from a tornado storm that we had so I've

nicknamed her Tornado and she and I are going to the animal rescue tomorrow. But

things got really hectic, this was possibly the most crazy fall break I've

ever had, so in exchange for the end of this video, instead

my second video is going to be a dorm room tour. So you have that to look

forward to but until then, thank you so much for watching my first video and I

know it was a little all over the place, a little crazy, but you stuck through to
