Find a lower thirds stock library and download a suitable image to your PC

Launch VSDC Free Video Editor

Start a new project

Add your video footage

Click the 'Lock' icon to work only with images for a while

Add a lower thirds image

Click 'Add text' on the left panel

Insert your text and apply necessary formatting

Select the image and text objects on the timeline, right click them and choose 'Convert to sprite'

Move the lower thirds image out of the scene border (to the left)

Click the sprite and and apply 'Add movement'

Drag the arrow to indicate the motion direction

Select 'Yes' at 'Path's start point'

Dragging the cursor on the timeline, preview what result you're getting

To make your lower thirds disappear gradually, click 'Video effects' and select 'Transparency' - 'Fade out'
