Waching daily Mar 7 2017

Hey What's up, you guys? It's Connor, and today I'm going

to be doing a book review on Beartown

by Fredrik Backman. If you

don't know, Fredrik Backman is one of

my favorite authors, and I have read all

of the books and novella that he has

that have been translated into English.

I've also done book reviews on all of them,

and I'll leave those in the card symbol

as well as in a playlist in the

description. You can check them out if

you want to, but today we're talking

about Beartown. I requested and was sent

this book from the publisher in order to

read it and review it for you guys because I

was so excited that is coming out.

But that in no way affects my basically

love for this book. Beartown really

follows just this small Swedish town that

is surrounded by forests. It is a town that

has been degrading and going downhill

for a while now. A lot of people have

lost their jobs. People are moving away

from this town, and not many people are

moving there. And I think one of the

lines in the book is that "if a town is

not growing, it's actually dying", and

that's what Beartown is. It is slowly

dying.

This town is really centered around

hockey, and you don't have to really like

hockey to really love this book or

appreciate the things that talks about

even when it's talking about hockey.

You can easily substitute any other type

of physical activity or hobby that a small

town would collect around so possibly

football in America or soccer in pretty

much every other country. You know what?

I'm just going to read the back of this

book because that is going to give you a

better description than what I'm trying

to do right now. It's been a long time

since the residents of Beartown have felt

like winners. That could change this year

if the teenage boys who make up the junior

ice hockey team can win the national

championship.They have the heads, the

hands, and hearts to do it, but it's what

happens off the ice that will change

this town forever... Dun Dun Dun! And because

it really follows a town, you follow a

lot of different characters. I think you

follow 10-or-something people closely,

and there are some other people that are

just around the fringes. But don't let

that daunt you. It's not very overwhelming

or anything like that. You're definitely

going to know who people are, and how

they're related to each other, and

everything like that. As usual with my book

reviews, I'm gonna go through my pros, go through

my cons, give you my rating; then be

done. My first pro is just going to be

that I love Fredrik Backman's writing.

He is such a good writer. He uses

literary devices and elements so well. I

was just astounded.

I think that something that he uses

particularly well in this novel is the

use of repetition. I get

annoyed when books are very repetitive,

but this book uses repetition perfectly.

So the first line of chapter two - chapter

one is just this one little thing here -

it says "Bang. Bang. Bang. Bang. Bang." That

little "Bang. Bang. Bang. Bang. Bang." is repeated

throughout the novel, but it's used

with different people and used to

represent different things. I just love

that, and he does that with some other

things as well. Oone chapter it says

marriage is complicated at the very

beginning or something along those lines,

and then in the chapter that certain

things happen. And then at the end it's

like, "A marriage is complicated.", and it

gives such a heavy weight to those words.

I just - I don't know how he did

it.

They also use things like, "Again and

Again and Again" Every time that it pops

up even though it's it's the same

sentence, where it shows up in the

story means different things. And I just

loved how the different repetitions, and

the things that he brought back into the

story, and the same sentences that he

said over and over again always meant

something a little bit different, and it

meant something different for each

character that they showed up alongside.

So just wow! There are so many examples

of the repetition this book that I

absolutely loved and found to just be

fantastic that I wrote down a bunch of

them. But I just decided that I am not

going to spoil you, so uh yeah just look

for to that for yourself. Another pro for this

book is the hockey element. I don't love

hockey. I don't really know how to play

hockey. I don't know all the rules, but

the way that hockey plays a role in this

story is so relatable to pretty much

every small town around. I'm from a small

town, and my town really comes around

football which is a lot of towns in

America. The weight that's put on to the

players of football in high school or to

the players of hockey in this book is

insanely high, but it's so realistic that

these parents and this community have put

so much weight on the shoulders of 17

year olds. I like how real that was and

how I just I know that happens in real

life. They think that if this hockey team

does really well, then it'll bring all of

these other people towards their town

and help their town start to grow again.

That's a crazy amount of pressure to put

on a seventeen-year-old. Another thing I

loved was the characters. They're so real, and

although you don't like all the

characters because how could you just

with what's going on in here. But I just

thought that all the characters were so

well done, so

real, so fleshed out. I really liked how

he did his characters too. At the very

beginning you're given a surface layer

of each character, and I think at first

you really dislike every single

character. I think except for Amat. He's,

like, the only one that you don't dislike.

Him and his mom, Fatima, but for everyone else

you're like, "Dang! They are so annoying!

Why would I even care about this person?"

And then as the story goes along it

just digs a slight bit deeper, and then

a little bit deeper, and then a little

bit deeper, and you find yourself

understanding each character. Although

you don't love all of them,

you definitely understand where they're

coming from. And I don't know at what

point I became so invested in every single

character, and I think that was so well

done because I just didn't even realize

it was happening until after it was done

and I was really invested. The

characterization was incredibly well

done.

No one was just completely morally

correct. They all have rough times. They

all fall down, and it's the ones that

really work hard to be good people that

end up being, like, better people, I guess,

than the other ones. But no one in this

book is perfect, and i love that. There's

a huge theme of competition in this book.

Competition with others but also

competition with yourself, and I think

that the competition with yourself was

the one that was much more important in

this book. And I think that's a thing

just about life - that you have to

realize that being competitive with

yourself is a lose-lose situation

because if you're trying to weigh two

different parts of your life, then one of

them is going to lose and one of them is

going to win. But it's still you, so you

lose.

For instance one of the characters is

having to deal with the fact that she

wants to be a career woman and how the

town really thinks that being a career

woman is basically a bad thing because

she also have to balance being a mom.

She is competing with herself being a

mom and being a career woman, and how

does that work, and who wins in the end if

you're trying to be the best mom but

you're also trying to be the best career

woman. There's got to be a balance, but

she's trying to compete. And it just

doesn't work. And I really like that

throughout this novel there are tons of

characters that are having to go through

the same thing of "Well there's this one

side of me, and there's another side of

me. Which one is the one that will come

out on top kind of thing." As well as

external [competition]. So the hockey team having

to be the other hockey team. It's just all

very competitive. As well as being

competitive, there are also a lot of

parallels that are made. Like, certain

characters will be put alongside another

character, and you can see how

their paths diverge and what could

possibly happen to a person if this

happened versus that happening.

I don't want to go into too much

detail because I don't want to spoil

anything, again, but I just love seeing

how two people can be in the same

position, but because this accident or

this thing happened at this one point in

time, their future is completely different

because of it. I feel like I'm a little bit

all over the place with this review.

That's because I'm gushing really. It's

just a gush basically. Another thing that

I love about this book is that it just

is beautiful. It's just a beautiful book,

and the reason why I think that it's a

beautiful book is that it has a lot of

just simple truths and they don't try to

make them more complicated than they

have to be. If you're describing a

flower, you can just call it a flower. You

don't have to say that it's a

combination of stamens, and anthers,

and pedals, and sepals, and ovaries, and

whatever. You can just call it a flower,

and that's what this book kind of does.

He has a very simple way of getting the

point across, but if you are invested when

you're reading it, you get so much more

out of it. I love that. It's very

easy to tell if something is good or

evil, but even still with those lines

drawn, life is still complicated.

This book has a bit of a darker tone

than any of his other books. I mean, I

know A Man Called Ove is about a guy

who's trying to kill himself, but in this

I feel like Ove is really trying to

find a reason to live now that his wife

has passed away. In this one it's more

of a dark feeling. A lot of people in

this book seems isolated, and so it's a

bit darker. Just know that going

in.

I really enjoyed it. I really liked the

change in tone, and I really liked how it

was done it this northern town that

doesn't have a whole lot of sunlight

throughout all of the year.

It fits the story, and it fit the

characters. Just know going in that this

book is also going to have some triggers

as well. One of which is that there's a lot of

teasing and bullying, so if that's going

to affect you in a negative way. It

doesn't depict those things as good, but

there are some instances where there are

teasing and bullying and what's called

locker-room talk where there are crass

jokes about homosexuality or women or

other groups of people. Those are in

there, and they're not depicted as being

right. But it's realistic because that

does happen in locker rooms, and I liked

how it was handled in this. But if thats

going

to trigger you, then just know that is

going on in here. Some of the kids in this are

really picked on at school, and a lot of

parents are okay with it.

There's definitely some commentary on

that being a bad thing, and locker-room

talk is stupid, and making crude and

disgusting comments about women is dumb

and shouldn't be done. But they are in

here.

The main thing that affects this town

can also be triggering, but I don't want

to spoil it because I think at the

beginning of the book - for the first half

or so - you're like, "Oh shoot! What's gonna

happen?" You're trying to figure out who's

going to do the bad thing;

What is going to actually happen. You

know, you're you're trying to figure it

out, and the tension in the beginning of

the book is just building and building

and building to that point. So I don't want to

give away that point to people that are

not triggered by things, but after I'm

done talking about the book, I will tell

you what the event is that really

affects this town so that you can know

going in what it is or if it's going to

trigger you or not so you can avoid the

book is if it is going to. So stay tuned

to the end if you have triggers. Another

thing I like about Fredrik Backman's

books is that he always does two

different timelines - usually in his books.

For instance, in My Grandmother Asked Me

to Tell You She's Sorry there's the

timeline of the main character who's an

eight-year-old girl as a younger girl

and then the current time period. A Man

Called Ove follows Ove in the current

time as well as Ove in the past. In

this book he did something a little bit

different. There's the current time

period, but then there's also the future.

And so in the book it'll be like, "She

will never forget this for the rest of

her life", and so you know this specific

thing will be affecting her in the

future even if it doesn't right now. Ten

years in the future is really what this

book goes for, so it will say, "In ten

years he will look back on this memory

and think 'this'", so I liked seeing the

future

come back into the present and explain

why the present is so important to

these people, and to this town, and in

general. I think that the future

being the other timeline that he follows

really adds to the tension and the

building of this novel until the big

event happens because you're like, "Oh

shoot! This character is being affected

this way in 10 years. Why? And what's

going to happen in this timeline?" So yeah

really like the two timeline things the

future and the present. I also like that

Fredrik Backman's books are

diverse. One of the main characters that you

follow is gay, so you follow him as he is

trying to come to terms with that and

what that means for him and for his

future. As well as it follows a boy named Amat

who is living with his single mother, and they're

refugees from war that is happening. So

the people of color in this very white

environment, and you see the

exploration of them being of color and

how that affects their life being in

Beartown and everything like that. So

yeah, I really like the diversity and

exploration of what it means to be

someone different, someone other in a

town where everyone is the same. There

are so many more things that I loved

about this book, but I honestly just

don't have time to talk about it. I feel

like I've already talked your ear off

enough about all the things that I love

about this book. I don't have any cons, so

I can't go through any of those because

I literally love this book so much. I've

already pre-ordered the book. I got it

from Barnes & Noble because they have

signed editions of it, so i wanted to get

a signed edition. I gave it five stars

obviously. I think it is incredible. I

really recommend you pre-ordering it, or

getting it from the library, or just

somehow getting your hands on this story.

It is that good.

I honestly don't even know if its review

made any sense, but if you liked it,

please give it a big thumbs up and

comment down below if you're planning on

reading Beartown. Have you read any of

Fredrik Backman's other books? Are you

interested now? Or if you want to talk to

you about this book you can message me

on Twitter or message me on Goodreads. I

just want to talk about it.

Anything else you want me to know, leave

it down below, and I will talk to you

guys next time.

Bye!

So if you don't want to hear what the

big event is that happens in this book,

the event that happens off the ice

that will change the town forever,

click off. The only reason why I'm saying

it right now is because some people

have triggers and really would like to

know what it is that is bad that happens.

And so the big event that happens is that

one of the characters is raped, and it

goes into a decent amount of detail

about what happens during that situation.

And obviously in this book it's not

portrayed as a good thing, but it's

portrayed in a realistic way. And how

people respond to someone being raped in

a small town is very realistic ,so all

those things might be triggering to

people that are triggered by rape. So I

just wanted to put that out there, and

let people know if that is going to

affect their reading experience or not. Again

I definitely recommend this book! Please,

please check it out!

The Untold Truth Of The Fitbit - Duration: 6:37.

Fitbits have taken the world by storm.

If you've got one, chances are, you can't leave the house without it.

Obsessed with checking your daily steps?

How long you've slept?

Or your heart rate during that cardio sesh?

Well, there's a whole lot more to that thing on your wrist than you think.

Let's dive deep into this hot fitness craze — here's the untold truth of the Fitbit.

Chillax

More and more people are finding new ways to slay that Fitbit life — but lots of people

are going beyond using them just for getting into physical shape.

When Buzzfeed writer Becky Barnicoat needed help managing her chronic stress, she decided

to use a Fitbit to monitor her heart rate, marking when stress was starting to build,

so she could head it off at the pass.

And it worked!

Users have also found that Fitbit reveals not just the inner workings of our body, but

our emotions, too.

One user's Fitbit even tracked the precise nuance of heartbreak when he broke up with

his boyfriend.

"Don't remind me.

I miss it so much."

Bun in the oven

A man named David Trinidad took to Reddit to post about how his wife's Fitbit kept registering

a strange, higher-than-normal heart rate.

He wondered if it was starting to malfunction, and asked if anyone had any ideas on what

could be wrong, and how to fix it.

But another Reddit user suggested that there might be another cause: His wife could be

pregnant.

And she was!

According to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, one of the telltale signs of pregnancy

is an increased heart rate, to match your body's increased need for blood, typically

increasing the heart rate by 10 to 15 bpm.

According to Fitbit, this was the first-ever product pregnancy reveal, but they weren't

too surprised, since the heart rate tells so much about a person's health.

Legally bombed

When you have a conversation with your doctor, you're protected by patient privacy laws.

But that's not true with the Fitbit.

In 1996, the "Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act" was launched to secure

insurance and healthcare data.

But things like the Fitbit?

Not covered.

In one case, a San Francisco cyclist had GPS data from a fitness tracking app he was using

as taken as evidence in his own vehicular manslaughter trial.

The data was used to help prove he was at the incident in question and going above the

area's speed limit — and he was ultimately convicted.

Fitbits, like pretty much every other smart device you carry with you every day, are constantly

collecting data about you and your life, and your every move is recorded when you're wearing

one of those things.

All this goes to show: that info just isn't as private as you'd probably like to think.

On the other hand, Fitbits can also be used for good — that's the whole point, right?

Lifesaver

In 2016, one man's Fitbit literally saved his life.

When he was admitted to a hospital in New Jersey with an irregular heartbeat, doctors

weren't sure what was up.

Was it a chronic problem?

Or one brought on by a seizure?

If they treated the wrong condition, he could die.

And if they didn't treat him?

So, they grabbed his Fitbit and his phone, looked up his recent history and heart rate,

and were able to do the right thing and save the man's life, resetting his heart rate

with electrical cardioversion.

The case made it into the Annals of Emergency Medicine, giving doctors reason to take note

of the lifesaving potential of the Fitbit in a whole new way.

Then again, no one — doctors included — should think the Fitbit is an infallible piece of

technology.

Case in point...

Heartbreaker

In 2016, Fitbit was hit with a class action lawsuit, claiming that the heart rate tracker

was imprecise — and dangerously so.

According to some claims, Fitbits were anywhere from 25 to 78 beats per minute wrong.

Fitbit answered, saying that they stand by their technology as-is, and are prepared to

go to court to defend it, adding,

"Fitbit trackers are designed to provide meaningful data to our users to help them reach their

health and fitness goals, and are not intended to be scientific or medical devices."

Little Big Brother

Think your wellness habits are your little secret?

Think again.

Back in 2015, a Swiss insurance company announced it would kick-start a tracking program called

MyStep, which gave reduced rates to regular Fitbit users.

Their logic?

The more often people's Fitbits hit 10,000 steps-a-day, the healthier they are.

Conversely, if customers didn't step it up — or just skipped out on the MyStep program

— they'd be slammed with some hefty insurance premiums.

But those people weren't the only ones getting monitored through their Fitbits.

According to an article in The Guardian, in fall of 2015, the Oral Roberts University

required their students to suit up with the tracker.

If their activity levels dropped too low, their grades would drop, too.

By way of an explanation, University president, William Wilson told The Guardian, "The marriage

of new technology with our physical fitness requirements is something that sets ORU apart.

We were the first university in the world to offer this unique approach to a fitness

program."

"What are you people, on dope?"

Even though no GPS trackers were enabled on those Fitbits, they were still recording student

data 24/7.

It might have been called "whole person education," but that invasion of privacy might need to

step back.

Dirty laundry

In 2011, Fitbit users got a major shock.

Not only were their online profiles made public by the devices by default, but a quick Google

search could allow you to find pretty much anyone's information.

That included not just how active you — or your neighbors — were, but also information

about exactly what you were doing.

Users found their entries on the internet for all to see — some of which, revealed

things like "Sexual Activity, Active, Vigorous effort."

"One little *beep* and I'm a hooker with no taste!"

After news of the debacle hit the web, Fitbit quickly changed users' default settings

to "private," and reached out to search engines to remove sensitive data.

But there were more problems ahead.

In January 2016, some Fitbit users got hacked by cyber-thieves, trying to order replacement

Fitbits items through the users' warranties.

Users quickly realized hackers had also gained access to their sleep schedules, and regular

workouts.

Stalker, much?

A month later, things got even scarier.

Researchers from the University of Toronto took a look at just what information was being

broadcast by a number of wearable fitness trackers, including the Fitbit.

They found that almost every one of them emitted a constant Bluetooth signal that could be

picked up and tracked.

They also found the information the trackers were sending could be used on-the-spot by

retail stores and shopping centers to profile customers as they walked in the door.

That's just creepy.

Fatness tracker

It's safe to say that most people who wear a Fitbit want to boost their health, but several

studies have shown that some people report their weight heading in the other direction.

"Man, do I sound like an idiot."

So what gives?

When the University of Pittsburgh looked at 470 people who were all instructed to eat

a low-calorie diet and exercise more, they found that the half that followed the plan

on their own lost more weight.

The other half, who were given differently-branded fitness trackers, lost less weight.

Why?

A few reasons.

One was that hitting goals might make people feel they can eat more.

On the flip side, missing goals can be discouraging, not motivating.

A Fitbit bummer.

Psychological thriller

Let's face it: we all want diets, weight loss, and healthy living to be easy.

And strapping something on our wrists to tell us what to do, sounds pretty awesome.

But considering the things your Fitbit can't keep track of… what do we do?

While Fitbit technology is groundbreaking, it's the psychology of the tracker that really

makes a difference.

For example, when you have concrete evidence showing you're killing it, you're motivated

to keep going.

It also asks that you pay more attention to what you're doing every day.

Random daily behavior is suddenly divided into "exercise" and "not exercise", and it's

that consciousness about what we do, and what we put into our bodies, that changes you for

the better.

Can you do all that without a Fitbit?

Sure.

But you gotta admit, turning your get-fit goals into a game is way more fun!

Quân Đội Trung Quốc Đang Tuần Tra Ở Afghanistan? | Trung Quốc Không Kiểm Duyệt - Duration: 6:59.

On this episode of China Uncensored,

China's People's War on Terrorism expand...

to Afghanistan

Hi, welcome to China Uncensored,

I'm your host Chris Chappell.

Ok, ok, ok,

let me just clear something up.

Just because you see military vehicles

doesn't mean you're looking at the military.

You see in November

an Indian publication release these photos

from the Little Pamir region along the border between China and Afghanistan

Ok ok ok,

let me clear something up

just because you see something that looks like a Hummer

that doesn't mean it's the Hummer.

That's actually a Chinese-made 'Dongfeng' - Eastern Wind

a knockoff of the American Hummer.

So, is the Chinese military patrolling in Afghanistan?

No, don't be silly.

According that spokesman,

they were "Chinese police."

Military vehicles?

not military,

Of course as the Financial Times points out

the spokeman also denied there were ongoing non-military patrols

along the Afghan side of the border."

The Afghan side also denied it

So, I'm not sure what to say about those...

Chinese military knockoffs

patrolling along the border.

Though the think-tank Central Asia-Caucasus Analysts

say these statements of eyewitnesses, diplomats and an unnamed Chinese official

made for overwhelming evidence

that they were Chinese troops.

But we could argue back and forth all day over

whether Chinese military vehicles

patrolling Afghanistan

constitute some form of military or non military patrol

which it isn't.

Anyway, the Wakhan pass is a narrow strip of territory

the borders Pakistan, Tasjikistan

and connect to China's Western Xinjiang region

you might be wondering

why the weird shape?

Well, in the 19th century

the British and Russian empires were fighting over Afghanistan

a tradition that countries still carry on to these day

The Wakhan Corridor was a territorial agreement between the two

to separate what was then British India

and Russia.

A sort of, ok, you two, go to off each side of the room

Just one of many fun decisions foreign countries have made about Afghanistan

And now, China

China-Afghan ties have been warming for a while now

and I'm not just talking about Afghan girls learning Chinese Kung Fu

For example, in 2015,

the Afghan government arrested Chinese Uighurs Muslim

and sent them back to China

in exchange for China's help talking with the Taliban,

proving China's commitment to fighting terrorism.

But China may have legitimate concerns about Islamic extremists entering China.

According to the Chinese regime,

the Turkistan Islamic party

headquarters in Afghanistan

has conducted terror attacks inside China.

But, they probably aren't getting through here

crossing from Afghanistan to China at this border point

is almost impossible.

According to the Central Asia-Caucasus Analust,

"The high plateaus of the Little Pamir

can only be reached by vehicle from Tajikistan,

as mountains without road

block the access for vehicles from the Afghan and Chinese sides.

So that means

even these Chinese military vehicles

which are absolutely not part of the military

must have done through Tasjikistan to get there,

which makes sense because China and Tasjikistan

also have a military relationship.

There are also no footpaths

and those border mountains reach as high as 16,500 feet.

So, probably terrorists are not streaming through there on their way to China.

China is also pursuing big economic deals in Afghanistan

According to China's state-run Global Times

the Corridor has huge important geopolitical and geoeconomically

as it allows China to access a treasure trove of mineral deposits."

Ah, the promise of Afghan mineral deposits

like this copper mining operation that unfortunately

has all these pesky ancient Buddha statues that simply 'must go'.

So it's weird both sides are being so cagey about

whatever kind of patrol this was.

In July, China gate military aid to Afghanistan.

a first

A month later, China joined Afghanistan, Tajikistan and Pakistan

in the quadrilateral cooperation and coordination mechanism.

It was a military cooperation agreement

dressed up like an anti-terrorism agreement.

And the source that spoke to Central Asia-Caucasus Analyst

said the countries conducted patrol on an almost weekly basis.

And then suspended them,

I mean, these patrols were definitely happening.

I mean, we have the pictures.

So why has the denial these drills ever happened?

Does this mean the Afghan government is lying

or worse, did the Afghan central government

simply not know what is happening in its own borders.

That not too far-fetched.

In theory,

local officials could have authorized it on their own.

this is a pretty remote region.

This all comes at a time when US presence in Afghanistan is waning.

President Obama withdrew nearly all US troops

by the time he left office.

So is China trying to fill a power vacuum

left by the US?

Is the Chinese regime

simply seeking to protect its growing business interest in the country.

Or are they concerned about terrorists entering China?

If that's the case,

why the patrols in the middle of harsh [train]

where it's virtually impossible to cross into China

But,

just the word of warning to China

don't start leaving your troops in Afghanistan,

it's probably not going to end well.

What's that, Shelley?

Oh I guess you could just leave troops in Afghanistan forever.

So what do you think about the mysterious appearance of Chinese military?

or... police or whatever

in Afghanistan.

Leave your comments below.

Thanks for watching this episode of China Uncensored.

Livestream Apps - Which Livestream apps you should be using - Duration: 3:54.

Hi I'm Tricia Clements, Chief Fur Wrangler with

MuttButs.com. I'm a social media content

creator for pet businesses. In this

video I'm going to talk to you about the

best livestreaming apps that you should

consider. Stay tuned to the end because

I have a bonus tip and also a free

download for the pros and cons of my

favorite livestreaming apps so you have

Facebook Live. Periscope, Instagram and

also you have YouTube livestreaming. You

have lots and lots of other livestreaming

apps these are several of the

main ones that a lot of people are on.

As far as which one you should choose to

use the most often, I would say the best

thing is to use which platform your

community is already on. If you have

built up a large Facebook page and have

an active community on there, then make

sure you go live on Facebook Live often.

If you have a large Twitter following an

active Twitter following then make sure

you use Periscope because Periscope is

owned by Twitter and when you go live

and you start off using the Twitter

app to live on Periscope, it also tweets

out to your followers on Twitter and

also to your Periscope

followers too. Then you can also use

Instagram Live and that is another great

one if you were on Instagram you

definitely want to consider using

Instagram Live. Then you have

YouTube. That's one of the newer

livestream apps. If you're on YouTube and

that's where you have a large following,

then definitely look at using YouTube

livestream. One thing you want to

make sure to consider is you don't

necessarily want to use just one

livestreaming app. I really like to use

Periscope, Facebook Live and Instagram.

It just really depends where you

feel comfortable and we're your

community is. You don't necessarily

have to just pick one, but I would

definitely use at least one

livestreaming app.

Remember, as far as your community is

considered with livestream it helps

your audience get to know you, and then

after they get to know you,

they get to like you and after that,

that's when you build a trust and that's

when you build your community. Now

for my bonus tip. Instagram

Stories: make sure that if you are on

Instagram, you are using Instagram

Stories because when you use Instagram

Stories they come up at the top of the

app and everyone sees those first when

they open up their Instagram app.

They're going to see this Instagram

Stories first so that is your bonus, make

sure you're using Instagram Stories for

livestream as well. Now that you know

how to select the best livestream app for

you, I have a free download you can click

it in the description below. It is the

pros and cons for my favorite livestream

apps, Periscope and Facebook Live.

The Untold Truth Of Sausage Party - Duration: 7:18.

Sausage Party was a surprise hit in 2016, but the R-rated animated sex comedy has generated

plenty of controversy.

Interestingly, not all of the uproar has centered on the film's on screen madness — there's

also plenty of back stage drama as well.

Here's a look at the untold truth of Sausage Party.

It started as a punchline

Back when Seth Rogen, Jonah Hill, and Michael Cera were promoting their 2007 hit Superbad,

Rogen says journalists would ask them what their next movie was going to be.

As a joke, they'd say "Sausage Party," reasoning that a title like that would fit with journalists'

expectations of the kind of movie they'd make next.

Nearly a decade later, when Rogen had the idea of making an R-rated cartoon, he kept

coming back to the name of that fake movie, and ultimately he and his writing partner

Evan Goldberg devised a concept and a script around the name.

Nobody wanted to make it

After Rogen and Goldberg developed a story and artwork, they teamed up with co-directors

Conrad Vernon and Nitrogen head Greg Tiernan.

And then, well, nothing happened for years.

They pitched the movie to literally dozens of studios, and even considered seeking private

investors when they invariably got shut down.

Even with Rogen and Jonah Hill attached to star, there seemed to be no studio willing

to gamble on a raunchy adult cartoon tackling religious themes.

Rogen's mission of making an R-rated Pixar movie dragged on for eight years, until the

team eventually got the support of Annapurna and Sony Pictures, who apparently just really

wanted to see horny food come to life.

And, really, is that so wrong?

"You're all alive, and looking at me!

With your..

With your gloves!

And little shoes, and your arms and your legs!"

The MPAA said NO

The version of Sausage Party that ended up in theaters pushed plenty of buttons, but

believe it or not, the movie's original cut took things even further.

Rogen told Howard Stern this was by design, as they "added six things" to the climactic

food orgy as "sacrificial lambs" to appease the MPAA and avoid an NC-17 rating.

Much to their surprise, though, most of those things actually made it into the final cut.

The board instead focused on just a single bit: the hairy genitalia belonging to a piece

of pita bread, which they "digitally shaved" in order to make an R rating.

A whole new world

If you picked up a distinct Disney vibe while watching Sausage Party, it probably wasn't

just because of the animation.

Oscar-winning composer Alan Menken, whose credits include such classics as The Little

Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, and Aladdin, was hired to compose the score, as well as

the show-stopping opening number.

"In here!

We keep our wieners in our packages.

That's how it is."

"It sucks, but that's the way our buns keep fresh."

It may seem surprising to longtime Disney fans.

But according to Menken, his decision to take the job wasn't much of a shock to people who

know him in real life.

He told The Hollywood Reporter, "I remember telling my daughters that I was doing a project,

Sausage Party, and they looked at me and went 'Dad?

Sausage Party?'

In real life, I'm actually a very R-rated person."

It almost had a different ending

Rogen screened an early cut of Sausage Party at the South-by-Southwest film festival in

the spring of 2016, telling attendees that they were "truly seeing something that no

one will ever get to see in the world" — and it turned out he was right in more ways than

one.

That version's ending found the characters exiting the animated world and entering real

life, like in the last act of The Lego Movie.

But Rogen ultimately opted to go a different direction…for now.

As he later told Fandango, they may actually end up using that idea for a potential sequel.

"The idea of a live-action/animated movie, like a Who Framed Roger Rabbit?-style hybrid

is also very exciting, mostly because Who Framed Roger Rabbit? is one of my favorite

movies of all time."

Drawn and quartered

Conditions may have been bad for some unlucky food in Sausage Party, but if allegations

prove to be true, they weren't the only ones to suffer.

According to allegations from former workers at Nitrogen Studios, the company responsible

for the animations kept its costs low by forcing employees to work overtime for free under

the threat of losing their jobs.

Dozens of animators left the studio over the course of the production, claiming that if

they didn't stay late or work the weekends for free, their work would be given to someone

who would.

The subsequent exodus of talent forced Nitrogen to hire recently graduated students to complete

the film, while some animators claim Nitrogen even threatened to smear their reputations

as well.

Further, allegations have also surfaced that many of the animators who worked on the project

were uncredited.

Nitrogen has denied all claims, but it may be worth noting that of the 83 Sausage Party

animators listed on IMDb, only 47 were listed in the credits.

Surprising Dory

Sausage Party poked some gentle fun at industry leader Pixar by having the character Druggie

drive a car with a "Dixar" bumper sticker, and the license plate A113, which is a recurring

Pixar Easter egg referring to the animation classroom at the California Institute of the

Arts where a lot of animators got their start.

But the biggest prank Sausage Party played on Pixar was entirely accidental.

Shortly after the monster hit Finding Dory opened to record-breaking crowds in June 2016,

a theater full of kids at the Brenden Concord 14 movie house in California were accidentally

shown the ultra-filthy red band trailer for Sausage Party.

Whoops!

The theater's VP of operations, Walter Eichinger, quickly issued an apology.

"Playing that trailer was a one-time honest mistake by a theater manager moving screens

around in effort to accommodate several large last-minute groups wanting to see Dory.

We regret it, apologize for it, and we are not happy that it happened."

But I will do that

Theatrical classic rock singer Meat Loaf makes a cameo as — what else? — a boxed meatloaf.

"I would do anything for love.

I'd never lie to you and that's a fact."

Literally nobody else could work for that role, so Rogen had no choice but to lock down

Mr. Loaf.

During a Q&A after a screening of Sausage Party at the 2016 San Diego Comic-Con, Rogen

said he personally met with Meat Loaf to pitch him the part.

Afterward, Rogen says, he was met by "Just 20 seconds of silence, and then he said, 'Yeah,

I get it.'"

"But I just won't do that.

I would do anything…"

Diddy?

No, he didn't

Speaking of cameos, Sean "Puffy" Combs was almost in the movie.

Rogen's team approached Combs for a cameo, to voice a bottle of Courvoisier cognac . But

when it came time to record his lines, Diddy dropped out.

The reason: he didn't want to provide a voiceover for a cartoon.

Rogen says Combs understood that the movie was about food come to life, but he apparently

thought it was live-action.

And he thought he and the other performers would be wearing food costumes.

Now that would have been amazing.

6 Celebs Who Have Terrible Relationships With Their Parents - Duration: 6:19.

Family dynamics are almost always complicated.

Throw some money and fame into the mix, and it's a recipe for disaster.

Whether the problem is financial shenanigans or courting the tabloids too much, when a

celeb starts beefing with his or her parents, it can get ugly — quick.

While most stars strive to keep their dirty laundry secret, others put it all out there,

writing songs and books about their parental strife, and in some cases, even dragging mom

and dad to court.

Here's a list of stars who have the worst relationships with their parents.

Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino

Jersey Shore's outspoken beefcake, Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino, had a pretty ugly public

feud with his dad, after his pops released a series of embarrassing videos in which he

called out Mike for causing him all kinds of grief growing up.

The website is gone, but the videos live on in all their discount Sopranos glory on YouTube.

Frank tried to come across like a prototypical Italian tough guy, but wound up looking like

a parody version of a stereotype.

Hey, like father like son.

"Do it!

Do it!

Ughhh!"

"Stop!"

Frank also threatened to release a tell-all book, but Mike sued him into submission, and

Frank apologized for his behavior and blamed it on a con-man swindling him into the whole thing …

and, of course, the fact that The Situation wouldn't float him some of that

gym-tan-laundry cash he'd earned on the show.

Kobe Bryant

Basketball star Kobe Bryant also dragged his parents into court.

Well, sort of.

Actually, he sued an auction company his parents hired to sell some of his memorabilia, and

then that company turned around and sued Kobe's mother, Pamela Bryant.

Pamela had reportedly made a deal with them under the guise of being the items' owner,

and accepted almost half a million dollars in advance money toward the sale of the merchandise.

Ultimately, the parties all settled, with Kobe stopping the auction of most of the memorabilia,

in exchange for leaving a few items to the auction company to sell and recoup their losses.

Ma and pa Bryant also had to issue a formal apology in which they apologized to Kobe and

thanked him for his financial support.

It sounds like every kid's dream — making their parents admit they were wrong … right?

Well, despite their hat in hand approach, Kobe pretty much cut them out of his life

after that and hasn't spoken with his parents in years.

"The relationship your family is extremely important but you also can't force things."

Bethenny Frankel

In her 2011 book, A Place of Yes, The Real Housewives of New York star Bethenny Frankel

put her parents on blast by writing that her childhood consisted of her being "raised in

a cave, by animals."

Frankel alleged that she grew up at the racetracks, since her biological dad and stepfather were

both horse trainers, and started drinking by age 7, while witnessing violence and mental

unwellness unfolding in her household.

Frankel's mom, Bernadette Birk, didn't take this too well.

Already estranged from her daughter for years even before the book came out, Birk defended

herself by telling Hollywood Life, "My comment is the same as it was — I consider her to

be demented and beyond help.

Reconciliation is not up to her at all.

She would never want to repair anything because then all of her lies would come out."

Frankel eventually reached out to her mother at the request of her own daughter Bryn, but

the best thing she could say about that conversation is that it wasn't entirely excruciating.

Hey, baby steps.

Tori Spelling

The row between TV star Tori Spelling and her mother Candy Spelling is one of the most

notorious celebrity family feuds of all time.

Tori has declared that there is no feud but that they were just different people, but

she's also shaded her mom in the press on many, many occasions.

Among her most noteworthy digs at her mother, she's implied that her mother never touched

her as a child and wasn't there for her, and she also alleged, just days after father Aaron

Spelling's death, that her mother had a relationship with family friend Mark Abramson.

That certainly doesn't sound like a cordial mother-daughter relationship.

Candy did not take all that lying down.

"A lot of it is, 'Oh, poor Tori,' and it was played that way, I have to say, in an unfair way."

In addition to essentially cutting Tori off from the family's massive fortune, which is

estimated at $600 million dollars, Candy fired off a response about Tori's estrangement that

probably ends all further discussion: "It was sad because that's what killed my husband

actually.

He just didn't want to live after that.

You know, He had done everything… he could possibly do for his daughter and she wanted

no part of him once he couldn't do anything for her."

Eminem

Probably the ultimate poster child for the "I Hate My Parents Club," Marshall "Eminem"

Mathers wrote entire albums dedicated to trashing his mom, Debbie.

Claiming she was an abusive, neglectful, drug addict his whole life, Eminem left little

to the imagination about his true feelings in a song about her titled, "Kill You."

Debbie has said that Eminem's childhood wasn't a walk in the park, but denied the horrific

household and drug abuse depicted in Eminem's songs.

Em never backed down from dragging his mom with his lyrics, though, and even in his track

"Headlights," an apparent mea culpa to Debbie, Eminem couldn't restrain his rage.

Farrah Abraham

Even casual viewers of Teen Mom can attest that Farrah Abraham the kind of daughter any

parent would dread — a rage monster who suddenly becomes wealthy, which turns the

entire parent-child dynamic upside down.

You could literally choose any episode of the questionable reality show, and it'll inevitably

feature a scene in which Farrah screams at, berates, and curses out her mom, Debra, or

her dad, whom she only refers to by his first name, Michael.

"Why do I have to go through this?"

"You know what?

Because you keep crying, you keep creating a scene and I am not going to do this right now."

"You wanna talk?

Then f---ing learn how to talk."

Farrah has justified her bad behavior by alleging abuse by her mother, but that doesn't quite

explain — or excuse — her mistreatment of others.

It seems no one is immune to Farrah's wrath.

She famously flipped out on the show's producer and crew on the show.

No doubt, Debra still gets it the worst.

We'll let little Sophia take it from here.

"You are having a bad attitude"

Seriously.

Congresswoman Proposes Radical Solution to Refugee Crisis, "Stop Arming Terrorists" - Duration: 5:03.

Congresswoman Proposes Radical Solution to Refugee Crisis, Stop Arming Terrorists

US Representative Tulsi Gabbard is proving to be quite the thorn in the side of the establishment

warmongers.

In January, Gabbard went on a secret trip to Syria to investigate first hand and to

find the truth that the corporate media is covering up about the Syrian war.

Since then, this brave congresswoman has remained steadfast in her mission to show Americans

how their tax dollars are funding terrorism in the Middle East.

In a press conference this week, Gabbard called on President Trump to end the regime change

in Syria, adding that this is what is causing the refugee crisis.

The most important question is, how do we address the cause of these people fleeing

their homes, Gabbard stated before pointing to a bill that shes submitted to Congress

this year that would help in solving this problem.

The bills premise to stop the refugee crisis is quite simple stop arming the terrorists.

Stop Arming Terrorists Act, or HR 608, would ban the use of US taxpayers funds

to aid terrorist groups affiliated with Al-Qaeda or Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL).

For years, our government has been providing both direct and indirect support to these

armed militant groups, who are working directly with or under the command of terrorist groups

like Al-Qaeda and ISIS, all in their effort and fight to overthrow the Syrian government,

Gabbard said in an interview Wednesday.

During her visit to Syria in January, Gabbard met with refugees and victims of the US-backed

Syrian regime change, who all asked the same question why is the US funding terrorism.

Ill tell you what I heard from the Syrian people that I met with, Jake, walking down

the street in Aleppo, in Damascus, hearing from them.

They expressed happiness and joy at seeing an American walking through their streets.

But they also asked why the U.S. and its allies are providing support and arms to terrorist

groups like al-Nusra, al-Qaida or al-Sham, ISIS who are on the ground there, raping,

kidnapping, torturing and killing the Syrian people.

They asked me, why is the United States and its allies supporting these terrorist groups

who are destroying Syria when it was al-Qaeda who attacked the United States on 9/11, not

Syria.

I didnt have an answer for them, Gabbard said, noting the clear dismay the average

Syrian has for the U.S. support of al-Qaeda a proposition which every American should

equally question.

The reality is every place that I went, every person that I spoke to, I asked this

question to them, and without hesitation, they said, there are no moderate rebels.

Who are these moderate rebels that people keep speaking of?

1876 Alexander Graham Bell is granted a patent for an invention he calls the "telephone".

The song "We Are the World" receives its international release.

Regardless of the name of these groups, the strongest fighting force on the ground in

Syria is al Nusra, or al-Qaeda and ISIS.

That is a fact, Gabbard said.

As pro-war neocons consistently beating the war drum in spite of never actually spending

any time in the military lash out at Gabbard for her Syrian trip and proposed legislation,

other members of Congress, whove actually been in the military (like Gabbard), are showing

their full support of the bill.

Representative Tom Garrett (R-Virginia), a US Army veteran, is one of those supporters

who said that the goal in Syria should be peace.

Tulsi understands that arming the so-called rebels in Syria has only led to more

bloodshed, more suffering, and created more refugees, Tima Kurdi said in a statement

on Tuesday.

A military solution in Syria is not the answer.

I hope that President Trump will stop arming terrorists and commit to a political solution

in Syriait is the only way

to restore peace.

The Real Reason DC Changed How Its Heroes Looked - Duration: 10:10.

Bringing a costumed super-person to the screen is always a challenge, no matter which hero

or villain you're working with.

Do you keep the classic costume and hope your actor doesn't look like a Comic-Con reject?

Do you redesign the whole thing and add a whole bunch of edgy fish-scales — and potentially

annoy the fans in the process?

With so many classic characters, DC Comics' live-action ambitions have had to tackle this

issue dozens of times, from big-budget movie adaptations to super-suits that have to stand

up to TV productions week after week.

Like them or not, there are plenty of good reasons why DC changed how its heroes looked.

Superman

When it came time to bring a new version of Superman into movie theaters in 2013's Man

of Steel, DC Comics' parent company Warner Brothers had a conundrum.

How do you make a costume that was first modeled after a circus strongman — a job that literally

isn't a thing anymore — look good in the 21st century?

Brandon Routh's suit from 2006's Superman Returns was a noble attempt at updating the

comic book-perfect Christopher Reeve outfit.

But it took the classic look and just turned down the brightness.

The result was just, well, boring, a forgettable footnote that failed to restart the Superman franchise.

Enter Christopher Nolan and Zack Snyder, who sought to do for Superman what had just been

done for Christian Bale's Batman.

The new Superman, played by Henry Cavill, would need to be not only realistic and believable,

but memorable, too.

The result was a textured armor, a boldly drawn logo, and — alas — no bright red

undies on the outside.

Sure, Cavill in the old-style Superman suit would look undeniably classic.

No one would complain about the bright blue and red colors and the old-school hairdo.

But that Superman would just be an imitation, and not its own, new thing.

By ditching the old threads, the DCEU's Superman is undeniably new and different.

That's how you kickstart a franchise.

Aquaman

Sorry, Aqua-fans, but there's no easy way to say this: Aquaman kinda looks like a big,

underwater doofus.

That orange shirt, those green pants and gloves, and that big yellow belt with the A on it

— yikes.

And check out that hair.

Aquaman looks like he went to the nearest undersea barber with a picture of Superman

and, pointing at it, said, "Make me look like this."

The comic book explanation for Aquaman's fashion-sense is that he's not wearing an orange shirt — that's

actually a shirt made of high density golden chainmail.

Never mind the fact that gold is actually a really soft metal and is a dumb choice for armor.

The real reason he wears orange?

So he'll look like a blond, walking goldfish.

Believe it or not, Aquaman's actually shown up in live-action a few times before Jason

Momoa took on the role in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

Back during Smallville's ten-season run, showrunners found a great way to adapt Aquaman's silly

costume for TV: they wrote him as a swimmer for the University of Miami, where the school

colors are orange and green.

And when the CW filmed the unaired pilot for its Smallville spin-off, called simply Aquaman,

they just stuck actor Justin Hartley in a pair of jeans and told him to take off his shirt.

Not exactly the most complicated costume design.

So it's no surprise that instead of trying to make Momoa look like the classic Aquaman,

the designers at Warner Bros. decided to channel his more modern, gritty look from the 1990s.

That Aquaman had long hair, a scruffy beard, and some silver armor, all of which seems

to be in the mix for the DCEU version of the hero.

Good thing.

It's hard to imagine cinematic success would come with giving Khal Drogo short, bleach-blond

surfer hair, a bright orange shirt, and that doofy belt.

Instead, the new Aquaman looks like an Atlantean badass, ready to stab bad guys in the face

with a friggin' swordfish.

As a side-note, let's just all agree right now that the Aquaman movie must feature him

stabbing bad guys in the face with a swordfish, okay?

Hawkman

The original design for Hawkman is one of those looks that just screams "first draft."

It's almost as if someone burst into a tired artist's studio and said, "quick, I need a

superhero named Hawkman!

Get drawing!"

And so the artist thought for a second, then drew a shirtless guy with a pair of wings

and a hat with more wings — and an actual beak thrown in for good measure.

Boom: hawk plus man equals Hawkman.

Amazingly, when Smallville decided to make its live-action version of Hawkman, the showrunners

actually stuck pretty closely to the original comic book design, though they did make the

wise decision to give him some armor up top for some added protection against, like, whatever

it is that Hawkman fights.

Small rodents?

Sure.

Anyway, Hawkman came back to help kickstart the CW's Legends of Tomorrow series, and this

time around the designers decided to make him look significantly less stupid — if

they'd gone with the classic comic book look, that show would've been canceled real, real fast.

Would you watch a show where one of the superheroes literally wears a feathery, hollowed out bird's

head on top of his own head?

Well, okay.

Maybe you would.

Maybe that might actually be the greatest show ever created.

Actually, can we make that happen?

Can David Lynch be involved somehow?

Hawkgirl

Hawkgirl's first introduction into the comics came pretty shortly after Hawkman's — and

her original costume was, basically, identical to Hawkman's too.

The biggest difference is that instead of going shirtless, Hawkgirl wisely wore a bikini top.

And as comic books have repeatedly proven, there's nothing better to wear in battle than

a swimsuit, right?

As time went on, however, comic book artists wisely continually updated her look to help

her appear more distinct from her male counterpart.

In fact, with a unique headpiece and smartly designed outfit, Hawkgirl has managed to outshine

Hawkman entirely, becoming one of the lead heroes in the animated Justice League shows,

and staying on as a regular cast member of Legends of Tomorrow.

But as good as her design eventually became in the comics, CW's costume department wisely

steered clear of the more classic elements of her outfit, making her look like a time-travelling, battle-ready warrior.

Gone is the brightly colored top and helmet.

That stuff may work great on paper, but on film — not so much.

Black Canary

Let's say you're a lady crimefighter looking to make an impression on the bad guys.

You see dudes like Green Lantern and the Flash, wandering around in brightly colored tights

and weird hats, and you think to yourself: nah.

I'm gonna wear fishnet stockings and a leather jacket.

Because reasons.

That's more or less the thought process that possessed Black Canary, who made her comic

book debut in 1947 in just such an outfit.

Over the years, her look has more or less played off this theme in different ways, with

some more traditionally superheroic ensembles thrown into the mix in the 1980s.

But overall, it's been a healthy mix of leather and fishnets.

Thankfully, when the producers of Arrow decided to bring Black Canary into their televised

world, they smartly decided to ditch the stockings in favor of a combat-oriented leather get-up,

and stick a mask on her face to help conceal her identity — which has more in common

with her very first comic book appearance than most of the looks she wore afterwards.

If they'd gone with the usual comic book version of the hero, Black Canary would simply put

on a blonde wig and a low-cut top to distract her enemies.

That's not really the best strategy when it comes to fighting crime — though it definitely

seems to be working for Nicki Minaj, so that's something.

Wonder Woman

If there's one thing on which pretty much everyone can agree, it's that one of the best

parts of Batman v Superman was the big-screen unveiling of Wonder Woman.

A mainstay of comics and pop-culture since the 1940s, Wonder Woman is probably one of

the best-known superheroes ever, rounding out DC Comics' "trinity" along with Superman and Batman.

And that's even more impressive considering that, for the majority of her existence, she's

worn an outfit featuring star-spangled underpants.

For a character who traces her origins back to Greek mythology, Wonder Woman sure does

seem to have a weird America fetish.

Of course, since she was created during the height of American patriotism in 1941, it's

not too surprising to see her red-white-and-blue outfit in place from the beginning.

But over time, the clothes covering Wonder Woman's nethers got shorter, tighter, and skimpier.

Great for comic book sales — but thongs don't generally top the list of proven crime

fighting accessories.

Fortunately, the designer of Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman outfit knew that when you claim to be

an Amazon warrior, you better have the gear to prove it.

The cinematic Wonder Woman is covered in slick-looking armor that borrows from the costume's original

look, but makes it look, well, wonderful.

The fact that Gal Gadot is a former a fashion model means that it's her job to make clothes

look good, no matter what.

But even she would be helpless before a more comics-accurate costume.

Bright red spandex, a big, golden tiara, and those damn star-spangled-undies on the outside

— that's a tough look to pull off, no matter who you are — unless you're Lynda Carter, of course.

The Flash

For most of the entries on this list, the changes made by DC and Warner Brothers to

adapt their comic book characters for live-action has made sense.

After all, tights are typically the domain of gymnasts, dancers, and contestants on Ninja Warrior.

"Oh Jesse!

Oh!"

But crime fighters — like, say, police officers and soldiers — usually look to protect their

bodies from harm with padding and armor of some kind.

And so making movie and TV versions of comic book characters seem better equipped to stop

damage makes sense...until you get to the Flash.

The Flash's costume — the Silver Age one that first appeared in the 1950s — is just

about perfect in every way, which is why it's stuck around through decades relatively unchanged.

He's the one character for whom skin-tight fabric makes sense, and bright red with splashes

of yellow lightning bolts says everything you need to know about him.

He's fast.

Y'know, like lightning!

So it's a bit weird to look at the outfit that's been designed for Ezra Miller's take

on the Scarlet Speedster.

Like his DCEU compatriots, he's decked out in battle-ready armor, though until we see

more of him in action, we won't know what else the high-tech gizmos will do.

And the new outfit does make sense when compared with the rest of the Justice League: next

to Batman, Wonder Woman, and Cyborg, the Flash would look awfully strange in his skin-tight

red spandex.

The armored look makes sense for the world that Warner Brothers has built, so hopefully

we'll get an idea as to the benefits the Flash's armor will bestow upon him.

But still, c'mon, man.

That armor's gotta weigh you down, right?

The Flash runs fast!

And the last time science offered an opinion on the subject, adding more weight to something

generally makes things go slower.
