Waching daily Mar 6 2017

It is one thing to know intellectually and even to consent to the fact that Jesus saves.

After all, Jeshua means 'one who saves' but it is another matter to bend the knee, to

say with your heart and your lips that this Jesus is the Alpha and Omega, the first and

the last, the beginning and the end, the Emmanuel or God with us.

I love the story in the early Church about an Abbot named, Apollo.

You see, he claimed that the devil at one point had visited him and he noted that the

fallen angel was burnt like charcoal (as if he had been in a fire).

And even more interesting was that the devil had no knees.

And the Abbot understood like anyone striving for sanctity does that the unwillingness to

kneel (symbolized here by the fallen angel's presentation of himself) is a sign of the

demonic.

When you or I refuse to bend our knees at the name of the God of love, then we are dangerously

close to professing another name.

No, only Jesus can save us and those we love.

Only the name of Jesus has the power to conquer a legion of demons who have set themselves

against us this Lent.

And though they may not kneel, you and I will.

Because we love Him, and we know He can make all things new.

So close your eyes for a moment and make my prayer your own, 'Jesus, break into our lives

this season, find us and set us free.'

Introduction to the Wilder's products: Weathering oils - Duration: 12:09.

Greetings to all on the channel Scale Journal!

And we continue Introduction with the Wilder's products.

Today I want to show the work with Weathering Oils.

As you can see, the color palette is presented quite extensively.

And its enough for tasks for weathering models.

These oil paints are specially designed for modelers and have a number of advantages compared to the conventional art paints.

They quickly dry, after drying, gives a matte surface.

They are more liquid, which contributes to easier blending.

To work with Panther I need the following colors:

LS03 - Medium Yellow, LS04 - Light Buff, LS07 - Dark Yellow, LS17 - Faded Yellow, LS25 - Brown Shadow.

You can use more shades, but today I have enough, and these 5 colors.

Let's move on to working with the model.

For work with oil I also will need different brushes, Thinner, palette, and napkin.

To get started, add in two sections a Thinner.

In one section I will use to clean the brush, and the other will use when blending oil.

For the convenience of working with oil, squeeze out it on a napkin.

Start applying the oil points. A part I already done.

I started with the lightest shades. They are applied over the entire surface, but are more concentrated at the top.

The subsequent tones are applied similarly.

The darkest shades it is recommended to apply closer to the bottom and in smaller amounts. Because they are more difficult to blending.

After the oil is applied on the model, you can move on to the blending.

It is better to use another clean brush.

Wetting the brush in Thinner, remove the excess on a napkin and start the process.

On an inclined surface it is necessary to make movements up and down.

With oil paints you can do the following:

It's the effects of aging of the paint, interaction with the environment (fading), can be used for additional lightening or darkening of individual elements, and simulate the different stains.

Also like filters, oil paint can smooth different color transitions from modulating or the contrast camouflage.

Oil paint it is recommended to apply on a matte or semimatte surface.

To speed up the drying process you can use the airbrush, just blow out the air.

Oil paint can be applied in several stages. If you are not satisfied with the effect of the layer, you can optionally add more colors.

The process of applying oil paints continues until you get the desired result.

Go to the top of the tower.

Here, the process the same, only horizontal surfaces oil blending with prickly\a circular motion.

But if you have sloping surface, it is also used movements from the top down.

After drying, you can finalize it with a dry flat brush.

An example of creating additional shade by using oil.

To do this, apply a Brown Shadow around the commander's cupola.

Then a little shaded with a brush dipped in thinner.

And finalizing the effect of using a dry flat brush.

The working principle with oil on the tank hull are identical. Let's see how it goes.

Working with rollers is no different.

Working with oil paint completed.

Let me remind you, today I used the following colors: Medium Yellow, Light Buff, Dark Yellow, Faded Yellow, Brown Shadow.

And I also used Thinner.

With a full range of Wilder's products can be found on the official website, the link I leave in the video description.

This video I'm going to finish, in the next video we will look at Washes.

If you have any questions, ask them in the comments.

Thank you all for watching. Up to new meetings!

WERNHER VON BROUWN: THE SATURN V ROCKET - SPACE DOCUMENTARY - Duration: 21:33.

this is the story of the 80 days that

preceded the launching of the IgY

satellite 1958 alpha designate explorer

the free worlds first Earth satellite

was designed and placed in orbit through

the efforts of the united states army

ballistic missile agency and the Jet

Propulsion Laboratory California

Institute of Technology the secretary of

defense announced this morning that the

Army is to participate in the

international geophysical year satellite

program the others to use a jupiter-c

muscle to place a satellite in orbit

around the Earth the jupiter-c which

consists of a liquid propellant using

the Redstone propulsion system the Army

is requesting the jet propulsion

laboratory to provide the following

programs

first the additional high speed

propulsion systems required second the

orbiting missile our satellite and third

the necessary instrumentation to record

and transmit a scientific data assigned

to this experiment doctor picking I

think now we prior to the announcement

by the Secretary of events the

feasibility of an army launched

satellite had been investigated by major

general medeiros commanding general of

the army ballistic missile agency and

dr. Wernher von Braun director of a BMA

development operations

in consultation with jet propulsion

laboratory scientists it had been

determined that the Jupiter see missile

was capable of placing a substantial

payload in orbit around the earth

following the announcement by the

Secretary of Defense numerous planning

conferences were held in washington DC

huntsville alabama and pasadena

california on X minus 75 days

dr. wh pickering director of the Jet

Propulsion Laboratory made a short

announcement the scientific experiments

will be selected from those originally

planned as a part of the u.s. rgy

satellite program the jet propulsion

laboratory has been assigned the

responsibility by the US National

Committee of the IgY and by the army to

complete the design and construction of

these experiments in a suitable form for

the army rocket as early as September

1956 the army and cooperation with JPL

had successfully flight tested the first

jupiter-c

the point of impact was more than 3,000

miles from the launching site and a

predetermined spot off the coast of

Africa the purpose of the first test was

to check the propulsion systems of the

various stages the problems of

separation and ignition and to

demonstrate a new radio receiving

technique called Microlock in subsequent

tests the Jupiter see successfully

accomplished the task for which had been

developed to test the effects of

aerodynamic heating on the nose cone

designed for the Army's Jupiter

intermediate-range ballistic missile

the high-speed assembly will be made up

of clusters of solid propellant motors

like those that were developed for the

earlier jupiter-c missiles a single

rocket to which we will add a

cylindrical section to contain

instrumentation and a nose cone this

will be the final stage it will be

placed into an orbit and become our

satellite when the high-speed stages are

fully assembled it will look something

like this model at the army ballistic

missile agency teams of scientists and

military personnel began the task of

making final design changes required in

the first stage rocket these changes

involved use of different fuels a

different guidance and control system

and design and the testing of a

rotational launcher for the JPL upper

stages the army called on rocket 94 the

liquid-propellant mother which is a

modified redstone motor and on Chrysler

and the board instrument company for

other components

and the army ballistic missile agency

full-scale static water tests were

conducted at the Jet Propulsion

Laboratory the housing for the payload

was being fabricated meanwhile a cooper

Development Corporation and JPL were

fabricating and loading the rocket

motors of the high-speed assembly

the metal cylinder was constructed to

contain two transmitters their battery

power supplies and all the

instrumentation needed to obtain and

transmit data on cosmic rays meteorite

erosion and temperature measurements of

both the interior of the payload and its

outer surface

in a machine shop at JPL the finishing

touches were applied to the rocket motor

case of the satellite itself

the structure that supports the last

stage rocket was also precisely machine

then the rocket motor case and it's

supporting structure were assembled and

checked for alignment to ensure the

successful launching of the last state

the voice of 1958 alpha is this tiny

transmitter or more correctly both of

these transmitters this is the high

power transmitter that radiates 60

milliwatts of power and will operate for

about two weeks it will tell us the

temperature of the outer surface of the

payload and its own operating

temperature it will also relay

information from an impact microphone

that measures the frequency of

collisions with small meteorites in

addition it will transmit cosmic-ray

measurements both transmitters operate

continuously throughout the orbit and

each will carry four simultaneous

channels of telling me turning the

expected lifespan of this unit is about

two months so when are high power

transmitters batteries are exhausted

this low power unit will continue to

operate for another six weeks

amateur radio operators will be able to

pick up the signals from the high power

unit the transmissions from the low

power transmitter which radiates only

about ten milliwatts can only be

received by very sensitive equipment

such as minute track or Microlock the

radio receiving equipment for satellite

tracking and telemetered his house and

enclosures light enough to be

transported by helicopter

some of the special equipment and these

enclosures was built by the radio for

incorporation of Monrovia California

these and similar stations located

around the world were designed to

receive radio signals from both

satellite transmitters this receiver

system was created specifically to

function with extremely low power

transmitters the cosmic-ray experiment

which was first proposed and developed

by dr. James a van allen at the State

University of Iowa was combined with the

transmitters and making up the payload

this is sound which is the actual

payload for the satellite contains both

transmitters necessary surface for the

impact microphone which will detect

collisions with meteorite particles and

a Geiger counter to measure cosmic ray

intensity the measurement of cosmic ray

intensity outside the Earth's atmosphere

should assist us in determining what

cosmic rays are and where they come from

the study of emotion of cosmic rays will

also tell us more about the Earth's

magnetic field the Geiger counter

package with its associated circuitry

looks like this

this too is basically no different than

the kind of girl counter might use to

locate ready working for the cosmic-ray

experiment was originated and designed

at the State University of Iowa and the

micrometeorite experiment was developed

by the Air Force cambridge Research

Center the assembled Explorer satellite

appears small yet its single motor

develops as much power as five diesel

locomotives

seven and one-half minutes from the time

of the Jupiter see liftoff this

satellite travels through space at a

little over 18,000 miles per hour the

two transmitters we viewed earlier are

contained in the stripe cylindrical

section just after the nose called the

amount and thickness of the ceramic

striping is calculated to control the

average temperature of the instruments

within this compartment for flexible

wires comprise the antenna used by the

high power transmitter in flight the

satellite spins at more than 700

revolutions per minute in order to

maintain directional stability the wires

are then extended by centrifugal force

acting on a small steel ball at the end

of each wire the spinning requirement

imposed some added restrictions on the

design assembly and fabrication of each

component in the entire high-speed

assembly not only the transmitters and

the instrumentation but the rocket

motors as well were tested for their

ability to perform in this environment

centrifugal force might affect the

structure of the solid propellant and

thus affect the performance of the

motors a critical factor in the

carefully planned sequence of events so

essential to the successful performance

of a multi-stage satellite launcher

the tremendous acceleration and the high

vibration levels within the Jupiter

docket dictated that each component B

ruggedly built and carefully tested the

transmitters were subjected to a

simulated missile and violent on a shake

stand in a laboratory the frequency and

intensity of motion was based on

conditions known to exist during flight

signals from the transmitter were

recorded and checked for any deviation

or failure due to vibration the weeks of

painstaking testing checkout rework and

final assembly of the many intricate

parts of the satellite instrumentation

radio equipment the Rockets of

high-speed cluster and their delicate

ignition mechanisms was over now these

units could be joined with the first

stage rocket at the launching site for a

final check of the complete system

at the army ballistic missile agency the

work of fabricating and checking the

first stage rocket had been completed

the necessary modifications have been

made to the launching vehicle and the

huge rocket began its journey from a BMA

to the launching site while the first

date was in transit preparations were

made at Cape Canaveral to receive

components of the Jupiter see and start

immediately the work of final assembly

and testing scientists and equipment had

already arrived in the Assembly of the

high-speed stages was begun

but the installation of the payload in

the final stage rocket the high-speed

assembly was a complete unit the final

balancing tests were made to ensure the

successful operation of the components

during flight this assembly is spinning

faster than the wheels of a racing car

with the arrival of the first stage

rocket from the army ballistic missile

agency the Jupiter see began to take

form

in the assembly building the balancing

operation had been completed the top

that contains the high-speed stages was

given a dress coat of paint now the

cluster was ready to be joined with the

first stage rocket

on the 80th day explorer was ready for

launching but at X minus 10 hours it was

reluctantly decided that because of

Hurricane velocity winds at high

altitudes it would be inadvisable to

fire a 24-hour hold was called on

january thirtieth it appeared that the

weather might improve the odds were not

good but the countdown was continued to

X minus two hours a second time the

order came from general medeiros hold 24

hours for weather

due to other range schedules launching

had to be accomplished on the following

day january thirty first or the firing

would be delayed for a week by noon when

the velocities had reduced to 160 miles

per hour

there was evidence that the weather

might continue to improve accordingly

final adjustments and checks were made

of wiring circuits and instrumentation

the batteries that energize the igniters

of the high-speed rockets were installed

and checked the transmitters were tested

during the final hours of daylight the

fuel that powers the first stage was

pumped into the big rocket in the past

six hours hundreds of detailed

operations have been performed the

igniters that will fire the high-speed

stages have been brought from the

storage area and connected

America's mass deportation system is rooted in racism - Duration: 12:17.

Americas mass deportation system is rooted in racism.

by Edward Morgan.

A rowdy segment of the American electorate is hell-bent on banning a specific group of

immigrants from entering the United States.

Thousands upon thousands of other people citizens and immigrants, alike oppose them, choosing

to go to court rather than fulfill the electorates narrow vision of what America should look

like: white, middle-class and Christian.

The Conversation

Soon a series of U.S. Supreme Court rulings could grant unrestrained power to Congress

and the president over immigration control.

More than 50 million people could be deported.

Countless others might be barred from entering.

Most of them would be poor, nonwhite and non-Christian.

This may sound like wild speculation about what is to come in President Donald Trumps

America.

It is not.

It is the history of U.S. immigration control, which is the focus of my work in the books

Migra!

A History of the U.S. Border Patrol and City of Inmates: Conquest, Rebellion, and

the Rise of Human Caging in Los Angeles.

Historically speaking, immigration control is one of the least constitutional and most

racist realms of governance in U.S. law and life.

Made in the American West

The modern system of U.S. immigration control began in the 19th-century American West.

Between the 1840s and 1880s, the United States government warred with indigenous peoples

and Mexico to lay claim to the region.

Droves of Anglo-American families soon followed, believing it was their Manifest Destiny to

dominate land, law and life in the region.

But indigenous peoples never disappeared (see Standing Rock) and nonwhite migrants arrived

(see the state of California).

Chinese immigrants, in particular, arrived in large numbers during the 19th century.

A travel writer who was popular at the time, Bayard Taylor, expressed the sentiment settlers

felt toward Chinese immigrants in one of his books:

The Chinese are, morally, the most debased people on the face of the earth their touch

is pollution They should not be allowed to settle on our soil.

When discriminatory laws and settler violence failed to expel them from the region, the

settlers pounded Congress to develop a system of federal immigration control.

In response to their demands, Congress passed the 1882 Chinese Exclusion Act, which prohibited

Chinese laborers from entering the country for 10 years.

The law focused on Chinese laborers, the single largest sector of the Chinese immigrant community.

In 1884, Congress required all Chinese laborers admitted before the Exclusion Act was passed

to secure a certificate of reentry if they wanted to leave and return.

But, in 1888, Congress banned even those with certificates from reentering.

Illustration, How John may dodge the exclusion act shows Uncle Sams boot kicking a

Chinese immigrant off a dock.

Library of Congress Then, when the Chinese Exclusion Act was set

to expire in 1892, Congress passed the Geary Act, which again banned all Chinese laborers

and required all Chinese immigrants to verify their lawful presence by registering with

the federal government.

The federal authorities were empowered by the law to find, imprison and deport all Chinese

immigrants who failed to register by May 1893.

Together, these laws banned a nationally targeted population from entering the United States

and invented the first system of mass deportation.

Nothing quite like this had ever before been tried in the United States.

Chinese immigrants rebelled against the new laws.

In 1888, a laborer named Chae Chan Ping was denied the right of return despite having

a reentry certificate and was subsequently confined on a steamship.

The Chinese immigrant community hired lawyers to fight his case.

The lawyers argued the case up to the U.S. Supreme Court but lost when the court ruled

that the power of exclusion of foreigners [is an] incident of sovereignty belonging

to the government of the United States and cannot be granted away or restrained

on behalf of anyone.

Simply put, Chae Chan Ping v. U.S. established that Congress and the president hold absolute

and unqualified authority over immigrant entry and exclusion at U.S. borders.

Chinese exclusion cases

Despite this loss, Chinese immigrants refused to comply with the 1892 Geary Act, submitting

themselves for arrest and risking both imprisonment and deportation rather than registering with

the federal government.

They also hired some of the nations best constitutional lawyers.

Together, they swarmed the courts with challenges to the Geary Act.

In May 1893, the U.S. Supreme Court agreed to hear its first deportation case, Fong Yue

Ting v. U.S. and quickly ruled that deportation is also a realm of absolute authority

held by Congress and the president.

The court wrote:

The provisions of the Constitution, securing the right of trial by jury and prohibiting

unreasonable searches and seizures, and cruel and unusual punishments, have no application.

In other words, the U.S. Constitution did not apply to deportation.

Immigration authorities could develop practices to identify, round up and deport noncitizens

without constitutional review.

It was a stunning ruling even by 19th-century standards.

So stunning that three of the justices issued scathing dissents, arguing that the U.S. Constitution

applies to every law enforced within the United States.

As Justice Brewer put it:

The Constitution has potency everywhere within the limits of our territory, and the

powers which the national government may exercise within such limits are those, and only those,

given to it by that instrument. But such dissent held no sway.

Six years later, the U.S. Supreme Court tripled down on immigration control as exempt from

judicial review.

In that 1896 ruling, Wong Wing v. U.S., which was issued on the same day as the court upheld

racial segregation laws in its infamous Plessy v. Ferguson decision, the court held that

the Constitution does not apply to the conditions of immigrant detention.

By 1896, the U.S. Supreme Court had granted Congress and the president nearly unrestrained

power over excluding, deporting and detaining noncitizens, both at U.S. borders and within

the national territory.

To date, they have used that authority to deport and forcibly remove more than 50 million

people and ban countless others from entering the country.

Most of them are nonwhite, many of them poor and a disproportionate share non-Christian.

Making America great again

Over time, Congress and the courts placed several limits on what is allowable in immigration

control.

For example, the 1965 Immigration Reform Act prohibits discrimination on the basis of race,

gender, nationality, place of birth, or place of residence. And several court rulings

have added a measure of constitutional protections to deportation proceedings and detention conditions.

But, in recent weeks, Trump and his advisers have tapped into the foundational architecture

of U.S. immigration control to argue that the presidents executive orders on immigration

control are unreviewable by the courts.

As Trumps senior advisor Stephen Miller put it: The presidents executive powers

over immigration control will not be questioned.

On Feb. 9, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit turned down the administrations

unreviewable argument regarding the so-called Muslim ban.

But Trumps immigration enforcement order still stands.

This includes a provision that subjects even those unauthorized immigrants who are simply

suspected of crime to immediate removal.

It also denies many of the immigrants who unlawfully cross our borders the due process

protections recently added to deportation proceedings.

If implemented as promised that is, with a focus on bad hombres and the U.S.-Mexico

border Trumps immigration plan will exacerbate the already disproportionate impact

of U.S. immigration control on Latino immigrants, namely Mexicans and Central Americans.

U.S. immigration may no longer target Chinese immigrants, but it remains one of the most

highly racialized police projects within the United States.

Trumps executive orders are pulling U.S. immigration control back to its roots, absolute

and racial.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit pushed back against this interpretation, affirming

the reviewability of the seven-country ban.

But the decisions made during the Chinese exclusion era are likely to protect many of

the presidents other orders from judicial review.

That is, unless we overturn the settler mentality of U.S. immigration control.

In under 140 characters, the brilliant Paul completely dismantled Trumps entire delusional

Chinese emperor-esque arguments for his great wall given during Trumps first speech

to the nation.

We want all Americans to succeed, but that cant happen in an environment of lawless

chaos.

We must restore integrity and the rule of law at our borders, Trump exclaimed to

be met with applause.

For that reason, we will soon begin the construction of a great, great wall along

our southern border.

Great wall on southern border?

hopefully not to keep us in.

Reduce incentives to illegally cross and change foreign policy!

Problem solved!

Merit-based immigration is a good idea.

No welfare magnet for illegal immigrants would work well too!

Ron Paul answered Trumps fear mongering of radical Islamic terrorism with logic

and reason instead of islamophobic emotion.

As reported on extensively, US foreign policy creates terrorism.

These people dont hate our freedom they hate our bombs blowing up their children.

Its called blowback Trump, you should research it.

According to data provided by the Department of Justice, the vast majority of individuals

convicted of terrorism and terrorism-related offense since 9/11 came here from outside

of our country, Trump spewed his carefully crafted sentence to make it seem as if terrorism

in the US mostly comes from Islam.

However, as pointed out on many occasions, Trumps travel ban did not restrict individuals

from the countries who actually committed the acts of terror.

And, white Americans who carry out mass shootings and horrid acts of terror are almost never

charged with terrorism.

Ron Paul went on to warn against Trumps ominous promises to strongly vet those who

want to travel to the US.

As the travel ban has already shown, innocent Americans are ensnared and humiliated by its

aggressive implementation.

This will only get worse.

"THE MARTIAN" DIGGING BELOW THE MARTIAN SURFACE - Duration: 2:04.

hi I'm dr. Veronica panic and i work on

the Mars organic molecule analyzer for

the 2018 exomars rover

i'm working on the Mars organic molecule

analyzer which is a very exciting

instrument which will look at the

chemical makeup of the soil of Mars from

a depth of 2 meters below the surface we

know a lot about the chemical makeup of

on the surface from all the previous

rover mission but it's the first chance

we're gonna get to really look below the

surface understanding the chemical

makeup of Lars is important for a few

reasons one we need to understand what

resources we might potentially be

harvesting when we send explorer so we

not only need to understand what's

happening on the surfaces mark but also

once we start drilling down below the

surface

what kind of resources can we expect to

find understanding the chemical makeup

of the of the Mars soil is important for

us to understand potential hazards that

human might encounter and to make sure

that we keep our explorers safe

the next step in and understanding the

chemical makeup of the of the red planet

would be to instead of sending these

very sophisticated robots to do the

chemistry would be much better to cash

these samples understand which one would

be the most interesting to look at and

then send them back to earth

it's a it's the next step that that NASA

is working on to its called sample

return

hi I'm Veronica panic join me as we

journey to Mars but the only person

around it doesn't have TV coverage to

the food and minded man they got the

black up now you're gonna be the one

getting a TV picture never failed yet we

are getting a

baby pictures really want all

family

A MESSAGE FROM THE USS ENTERPRISE CAPTAIN JAMES T.KIRK - Duration: 3:17.

NASA

works by science

Oh rings better work amount of energy

thrust needed to lift and free ourselves

and gravity the mathematics involved in

setting an arc there because you want to

land over there all that's mathematical

but science fiction's totally imagine

exact opposite

what happens if

like that is then and you could go

through the center and make a quick

there is that all these imaginative

exercises science fiction is merely food

for the imagination of scientists or

actually working with technology that is

imagine sending a vehicle to take a

photograph of Pluto and come around and

take around the move around keep going

you can't do that on motorcycle

community you know you set your course

on a motorcycle

if you don't your your-your-your line

you're going to fall

Oh thinking around it it's mama but

NASA's doing with science that is when

you look at it is the equal of science

fiction

how are you going to make a parachute

that's going to stop a vehicle a box

pops out and going to stop it's not a

miracle how much line do you need what

to the material meet audio slowed down

before the and then you gotta send a

signal and it's seven or nine minutes

later the signal i mean it's it's

science fiction shadows that pass in

front of a star that suggests there's a

plant and it's big enough planet the

size of the m1 of the learner is it

possible the life exists on that planet

only a shadow in a telescope

those are the imaginative things that

NASA are looking at that's every bit as

passionately imaginative is science

fiction but you guys are working it's in

incredible

Hunter

the TV coverage of the things and that

man got the black up now you're gonna be

getting a TV picture now they are

getting a

three picture deal with it out want all
