"ECHPOCHFUNK" - a made-up word that consists of "echpochmak" (Tatar national dish) and "funk" (music style)

*MITYA - Mariem is playing

Mariem and the downspout dances

The most beautiful thing of the journey is the journey itself

The way, the road.

When you're just holding a dictaphone and don't know what to expect or who you will meet

Tashkirmen' village

Hello! My name is Mitya

Katya

Gennadiy, good day

Gennsdiy Makarov, musician, ethnographer

Dombra folk musical instrument

Kubyz, traditional musical instrument

This way, not like this

OK, so I don't do it like this, I do it like that...

Show me the right note one more time

The downspout play, unique tradition of Tashkirmen' village

Katya and Katya (Tashkirmen' village)

let's switch the instruments, OK?

push this

you can do it together now

I don't know nothing

Very beautiful!

Trinity celebration

The Mariem song was the very first recording experience of mine in this journey

it was the most touching thing

Because during this song somehow I started crying, even though I didn't understand a word

But felt something really powerful and sad

This is the Mariem song

Somebody stole the girl, after one year she was found

When her parents came she already died because of the labor pains

Don't cry, relatives. Mariem.

Don't look for her. Mariem.

The horses are tired from the way. Mariem.

Put her in the water. Mariem.

Don't feel pressed.

Australians Trying Japanese Snacks | Stefan Kosmidis™ - Duration: 11:57.

So its fish?

And you thought this was smart?

Hey guys, welcome back to my Youtube channel, so today I have a very special guest my sister NIna.

And today we are going to be trying some Japanese snacks, so I am really excited to do this!

I have not shown her what I bought, so lets just get straight into it.

Ok so which one should we start with first?

I don't know?

Well....actually none of these things I have tried before except this one.

I had this one, probably ten years ago. So it has been awhile. So should we just start with this one?

Yeah alright, let's do it...let's do it!

What is this called?

Hello Panda!

It is....biscuit with milk flavoured filling.

It smells very biscuity.

It smells nice.

Ready?

Ok

Oh they are so cute, it's got a little panda on it.

And it's like in a panda shape.

What do you think of it?

I don't know? It's like...

It's nice and crunchy too, it's got a soft crunch

Yeah it is a really soft biscuit.

And it's not too dry because it's got the chocolate in the center.

It is really nice.

Alright let's try something else...put these aside

Oh my god, I want to try these ones! What is that?

Ok so...

When I first bought it I was like, what the hell is this?

But then I realised they do tell you what is in it at the back.

It's a lemon mint flavoured tablet.

It's close up girl!

They look so fake!

They do!

They look like beads.

I don't know if you can...oh shi*%#t one feel on the ground.

Alright are you ready?

You know what they remind me of?

They remind me of 'Nerds'.

Oh my god!

They are just going everywhere.

I love it!

So that was the lemon mint flavoured Nerds, Next!

I want to save this one for last..

Alright, ok.

Because this one is like really fancy.

These are..

Soda gummy candy.

I still got the flavour of the lemon in my mouth.

Me too.

I got it stuck in my teeth.

Oh! these smell amazing!

Oh! my god!

That's really good.

Hmm!

Hmm!

It doesn't taste as good as it smells.

I don't know If I like this one.

Its just like Ugh!

It's like a normal gummy.

eww nah, next!

Get this taste out of my mouth!

Cheers!

Cheers big ears!

So I just realised, literally everything on this table we got from the same store.

Even this bag and these drinks we got from the same store.

DYE'SO guys, DYE'SO

Isn't it DAY'SO

I thought it was pronounce DAY'SO?

DYE'SO or DAY'SO?

I thought it was DYE'SO?

Well how do Japanese pronounce 'A'?

If you know how to pronounce it, put it in the comments.

I got this packet because I love how cute the little thing at the front is.

This is Sunkouseika?

Sunkousai, si, sa, sunkouseika?

Sunkouseika, Sunkouseika!

Sunkouseika rice crackers, with sugar.

Because we all just love sugar!

So these come in their own little packets.

Oh, so cute!

I don't know I am a little worried about these ones.

Why?

I don't know.

Is that one different?

Oh no..yeah..oh no Its upside down.

Because it has like a little tea cup on it. I am guessing they are maybe for when you have tea or something?

Can we open it?

It smells like...

It smells like pancakes.

No they don't.

Yes they do.

That's what they look like out of the packet.

It smells like fishy, like prawn...fishy

I smell pancakes

ooo, it's salty!

That's weird.

I am still trying to process what it taste like.

It's like a mix between..salty and sugary

It's like, when you get 'Sakata Crackers'

But then it's like they just added icing sugar on top.

I reckon we should try (I dont like it) it with some tea.

I actually got some tea from the same place.

I going to go make some tea.

This is barley tea that I got from the same store, as all these sweets.

I want to smell it!

It's got like a unique flavour.

[Gagging]

The tea has a really rich flavour.

Why does everything smell like prawns?

That is one thing I have noticed too, it smells really fishy.

Its very fishy.

Like fish saucy.

It's like...smoked, something smoked mixed with like...fishy.

It hasn't really got much flavour.

I prefer these not dunked in tea.

Let me try.

It just goes really soggy.

As bad as it is, it's probably going to make it worse

Oh yuck, it just brings out more of the fishy taste.

Oh that's gross!

Get it out of my mouth!

Well these are all for me!

Alright so this next one I think is hard candy.

Its got such a cute little illustration at the front.

Just looking at it, it looks like it's going to be grapes and strawberries.

Let's crack it open and give it a taste!

It's called FUJIA PECOCHAN, FUJU PICO....

FUJIA PECOCHAN...I can say that Peco Chan

Let's go for strawberry!

So these are the individual packets.

Strawberry?

Strawberry first!

I am actually really excited for this one!

You can smell the strawberry straightaway!

You know what this smell reminds me of?

You know those little, lipsticks for little kids?

The little kids lipsticks and it's got a strawberry scent.

Like the little lip balms/chapsticks! Strawberry chapstick!

Ok alright

Oh my god, I love this one!

It got a good strawberry flavour!

Oh my god, this is so good!

I'm..oh my god, this is like, oh my god..this is amazing!

Grape one.

I can't get it...wait I can't get it open.

It takes awhile for the flavour to kick in.

where the strawberry one came in like, BAMM!

Alright so this is Meiji Karl korn snack

It's got a weird character at the front.

It doesn't look Japanese!

It looks more like Thai?

It is product of Thailand!

Well I guess this is like an exception.

because it came from the same store.

Oh wow!

So It's got a very strong cheese flavour

oooh it does!

I am actually surprised, they are quite big. I thought they were going to be quite smaller.

So it looks like a little prawn shriveled up or a snail.

It tastes alright

You know what It tastes like?

Chemical cheese!

You know like 'Chisels'?

It just tastes like 'Chisels'.

Alright so the next one we are going to be trying is this cone one,

I am really excited to see what this one tastes like.

So I am guessing it's going to be like a cone and like a strawberry jelly thing.

I have actually seen other videos of people trying these.

Oh really, I have never seen it before in my life.

Like seeing them eat it there reactions are amazing.

Oh!

That was a wah wah waw!

What a rip off!

I was expecting something like.....

What a disappointment! Its broken!

Unfortunately it's broken but this is what is looks like.

It's got like a...I don't know what that is on the top. But it's obviously strawberry and then,

judging from the inside it's got chocolate in there.

Ok

It taste like the chocolate ice cream in Napoleon Ice Cream.

Yaas!

I don't like the texture.

I am not too crazy about it, I thought it was going to be a lot more extravagant.

I am still eating it though.

Alright so we have tried all the snacks except one snack,

which I have not shown my sister yet

I am excited!

and I think she is going to be a little bit grossed out by this one.

Oh my god!

1, 2, 3 BAMM!

What is it?

I don't know what it is?

It is some sort of dried fish.

And I don't know why someone would snack on a piece of dried fish?

So It says here dried fillet fish.

So it's fish?

And you thought this was smart?

It looks really gross!

I got to get a close up on that!

So do you want to do the honors?

Yep!

Oh my god, that is disgusting!

Oh my god that smells like cat food!

It smells like cat food!

It smells like fishy cat food!

If yous could smell it right now You would be so grossed out! You would be so disgusted!

It stinks! What is that!

Oh my god Stefan I do not know If I want to try this?

You have to try it!

This is probably...Oh my god and it is mushy!

I thought it was going to be a lot more crunchy.

I thought it was going to be crunchy too.

I do not know if I want to do this Stefan.

This is making me sick.

I think it is putting me off seafood.

Ready?

We have to eat the whole thing!

I think I am going to gag

It actually stinks

This is revolting!

1, 2, 3 the whole thing!

Nah!

Yuck, you are still eating it eww!

The aftertaste is bad

It reminds me of beef jerky, but like beef jerky fish!

It is not as bad as it smells.

Nah eww!

Ok guys so that was our Australians tasting Japanese snack video!

I hoped you all have enjoyed?

And thank you for being in this video with me.

You are welcome!

I still have to recover over that fish one.

That was horriable.

Everything else that we have tried I pretty much liked.

Overall great experience, and until then see you next time!

Bye!

Ciao! au revoir! Auf Wiedersehen! Tschüss!

Wait how do they say it in Japanese?

さようなら Sayōnara

How to Speak the Truth in Love - Duration: 7:28.

Today on Beloved Women

to be pure in the matter because people can tell if you just want to be right and if you

really want to help them.

Hello Beloved!

Thank you so much for joining us this week as we continue our Already free series are

we learn how to truly experience the freedom of Christ that we read about in the bible.

For those new to Beloved welcome!

I've designed these videos so you can jump right in at any time.

But be sure to subscribe to you don't miss any videos.

For those returning welcome back!

Today I want to talk about one of the most challenging things we will have to do in life

and that is correct or confront someone in the wrong.

Maybe it is a friend, a church member, a child or a family member.

If you've lived long enough you know there are a million ways we can get this wrong but

I've learned there is one way we can get this right.

The Bible instructs us to speak the truth in love.

I think we've got the first part down.

When we feel we are right and what we have to say is truthful we are more than ready

to give others a piece of our mind.

I mean how can they stand against the truth?

But you've probably also learned that simply telling someone the truth is not an effective

motivating factor for change, especially if that truth is spoken in a tone of defensiveness,

harshness, and just down right mean.

So how do we get this right?

How does one successfully correct another sister in the faith by speaking the truth

in love?

Well in today's text we see Paul set a great example on how to do just that.

In our Already Free series we've studied Paul explain that he is not in slavery to

the opinion of others because he is secure in what God thinks of him.

And to prove this point even further, in Galatians 2:11-21 Paul shares of a time when we confronts

the Apostle Peter.

In showing his willingness to confront one of the most prominent and respected leaders

in the Jerusalem Church Paul is showing his alliance to the Gospel of Jesus Christ over

people pleasing.

While Peter was in a city called Antioch he freely ate and fellowshipped with non-Jewish

Christians.

However, once some Jewish Christians joined Peter in Antioch, Peter started to distance

himself from the non-Jewish Christians or Gentiles.

He was afraid of what his Jewish-Christian counterparts would think of him associating

with others outside of his culture.

Why was this wrong?

Because Peter was falling away from the truth of the Gospel that grants fellowship to all

those who place their faith in Christ, a relationship based on grace through faith not tradition,

background or culture.

Peter was wrong and Paul was not afraid to confront him on the matter.

But it's how Paul confronts Peter that we can learn a great deal from.

Paul shows Peter the hypocrisy in his actions reminding Peter that both Jew and gentile

are saved by grace through faith.

This point was the core fact that Paul wanted to get across to Peter.

That in falling into the thought that one needed to follow Jewish custom and culture

to be saved Peter was forfeiting the grace of Christ.

Paul's rebuke was not to show he was right and Peter was wrong.

His rebuke was to get Peter back in line with the truth of the Gospel to prevent Peter from

being enslaved to a false gospel that says you must earn your salvation.

The truth in this rebuke is the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

That we don't need to earn our salvation, the love is allowing that truth to be your

motive, a pure hear that wants to see our sisters not give up the grace of God for the

things of this world that in no way compare to what is theirs in Christ.

In Galatians 2:19-21 Paul tells us some of what he said to Peter.

It reads:

19 "For through the law I died to the law so that I might live for God.

20 I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me.

The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and

gave himself for me.

21 I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the

law, Christ died for nothing!"

Paul essentially reminds Peter of the Gospel.

This should be our hearts desire whenever we are in a situation where we are correcting

someone of sin.

That we would remind them not to set aside the grace of God and not to turn from the

truth of the Gospel for the lies of this world.

Because whenever we sin that's exactly what we're doing.

When we sin instead of trusting God and relying on His grace alone to empower us to do His

will we push that grace away and try to do things our own way.

So whenever we see a sister doing this, like Paul saw Peter doing this, we correct them

not by pointing out their weakness but exhaling the power of Christ in the truth of the Gospel.

It's not just reminding them of the wrong they are now doing but reminding them of who

they are in Christ and all their potential in Him.

So instead of saying you are so lazy and complacent and you will not amount to anything because

you just keep making the same mistakes over and over again without learning from them

We say you don't have to keep living this way.

Christ has given you a purpose and a plan for your life.

You are free to choose better.

Or instead of saying you keep complaining about getting your heart broken but yet you

keep sleeping with every brother that comes your way

We say God values you so much that He sent His only Son to die for you.

You do not need to compromise your body and your values to receive the love of man when

you are already completely loved and honored by God Himself.

Now I know sometimes we just want to tell it like it is but pointing out someone's

weakness is never going to change them.

Only the Holy Spirit can do that.

It's not about them agreeing with us it's about them agreeing with God.

And I'm not saying you just throw a whole bunch of Bible verses at them, you heart need

to be pure in the matter because people can tell if you just want to be right and if you

really want to help them.

The purpose of speaking the truth in love is to remind our sister of her value and potential

in Christ only found in the Gospel.

It should take her eyes off of herself, her weaknesses, and failures and direct them to

Christ who is the only one who can truly empower her to do better and live a life in line with

the truth of the Gospel that says she is valued, treasured and loved.

I hope that helps you in your relationships today Beloved.

But now it's time to keep this conversation going.

Please comment and tell me about a time you confronted a sister in the faith and let me

know if it went well or if it completely blew up in your face?

Please believe I will be reading every comment.

And if you enjoyed today's video please give it a thumbs up and share it with a friend.

You never know who might need some Beloved encouragement today.

I post new videos every week so be sure to subscribe so you never miss a video.

Then I want to invite you to visit belovedwomen.org to sign up to have my weekly devotion "Hello
