Hi there guys and welcome to the first Silvertip Films
vlog of 2017. This edition is brought to you
you from the fabulous
Square 1 Studio near Dorking! As I'm sure
you all know by now, I'm Jess Jay and
coming up , we've loads of news and updates
about all the work the Silvertip team have been
getting up to, so...let's get cracking!
Now first up iIm so excited to announce
that Silvertip Films are actually the recent
recipient of a grant from Horsham District Council.
This is part of the LEAP Small Business
Development scheme. Now that money has
been invested almost immediately in
purchasing a brand-spanking-new Blackmagic
URSA Mini 4.6K camera! Which
is actually having it's first road test today.
Now we've shot a lot on Blackmagic over
the past few years but this newest
addition is going to help us take what
we do up to a whole new level!
Now you might remember last year I told you about
a promo we made for Bluecoat Sports. Well we recently returned to
the venue and shot some Personal Trailer clips
and a brand new video to
promote the open day event at the centre.

In the Christmas vlog I suggested
starting an "unboxing corner" because
you've done so many of these over the
last 12 months. This year looks set to be
no exception. We've just produced animations
for Cream and the reissue of their album
"Fresh Cream" and for the legendary Vangelis
Alongside that we've also made pseudo
videos for the Jillionaire and Snakehips.

Last month I showed you the promo we made for
Horsham Time Well Spent.
Well we've teamed up with them again
this time to produce a Valentines themed video
- it's so cute - there's definitely more coming from the
Symes family so keep an eyes peeled for them. Check it out...
Well that just about brings us to the
end of this vlog, before I go I just
wanted to mention we've been doing a lot more
Facebook Live videos recently so, if you like us on there
keep your eyes open for many more
