Hey guys Butch here with the Top 10 Tips
you need to know so you can make your
experience with the SMOVE as best as
possible.
First off #1, Calibrate It! Now I
shot a video on that and up here in the
corner there should be a white circle
with the letter "i" in it.
Click that and that will take you to a
video that I've already shot. Follow
those directions EXACTLY and that will
allow you to properly calibrate your
SMOVE to the geographic area that you're
in. #2 is insert the phone. Now
this is key, when you open this up
remember the USB power port is there. That's
where the bottom of the phone needs to
go we're just gently going to slide the
phone in and we're going to get it centered.
Now pay attention that the phone is
pushed up flush in the back and it's
balance within the holder evenly. Then go
ahead and power up the SMOVE. When you
do if the unit vibrates for any reason
it's telling you that something is off.
which takes us to #3. If it does vibrate
go back and make sure that it is pressed
fully against the back there.
Alright that's key. This takes us to
#4. What's great about this
is this lets us actually use the camera
app that came with the phone or maybe you
have another third-party app you
like to use or you can use the SMOVE
app. When that fires up and you know
that you've got that blue light as you
can see there that means that the unit
is connected to the phone through
bluetooth. That takes us to #5. When you
open the app make sure that the "blue"
bluetooth led comes on. If that's not on
when the app is open,
close the app make sure bluetooth is on
and do it again. This takes us to #6
and how to use facial recognition. If
we're just using the camera to take
stills you have some options here. This
will allow the camera to track, but it
won't take any pictures.
The top one is going to track and look
for a face. Once it does, it will snap
a photo. The one with the two circles in
the heart will look for two faces and
as soon as it finds two faces in the
frame, it will start the timer to take a
photo. 3 it's going to be a multiple
tracking bottom it's just going to track
a person's face without taking photos.
Down here, let's say if we're going to do
video same thing.
Press the video camera, it starts recording.
You can see it ticking away right there.
Okay down here is the facial recognition
Tap it, and it comes on. Here if you look in
this corner and click the white circle
with the "i" in it again. It'll take you to
another video I did, shooting out on the
beach using the facial recognition mode.
Basically what this will do when
you're using this mode and the camera
down it will pan the camera back and
forth and you'll see that in that video
that I have linked up here. If for some
reason if you can't get to the video
links, there will be links in
description down below, so you can get to
all right let's stop this now for #7.
Auto panoramic, here when you click panoramic
mode you have three icons on the screen.
Again go back to this spot,
click that white circle it will take you
to a video every shot explaining how
those panoramic photos work.
#8 How to Store your SMOVE.
We're gonna go back to
that shot a video for that click up here
in the corner and go take a look at the
proper way
how to store your SMOVE. #9 Now
iphone users this is also very important
if you are going to use your iphone and
charge it
this is the cord this is the certified
MFI Connector you're going to go up here
in the corner
watch that video as well that's going to
show you exactly what you need and there
are links in there so you can find this
on Amazon. Finally #10, which is
most important if you have a phone
that's bigger than let's say the iphone6
this feature, right here is going to be
important. This scallop nut let's call it,
you can loosen it and that allows you to
move this arm out and in and get a
little closer you can see ok
it allows you to move it if you have a
heavier phone iphone7 or iphone7 plus
you're going to want to move this to the
outside you're going to want to move it
away from the handle and then tighten
this back down.
Ok so for the iphone6 it can stay in
and it will be perfectly balanced, but if
you do have a heavier phone make sure
that you loosen this and move it out.
Ok that's it guys pretty simple
go ahead watch the other videos leave me
some comments ask me questions if you
have them i'll get back to you as soon
as I can.
If you enjoyed the video please give it
a thumbs up in the corner also click
SUBSCRIBE that way you'll be one of the
first to know when the next SMOVE video
goes LIVE. Thanks for watching!
