I'm going to show you my washi collection today
let's get started really quick
I've already filmed this video and it ended up wayyyyy too long
I'm not going to go into detail for each and every tape

I arranged the tapes by brand
these are MT tapes
these are all basic MT tapes on top
from the pastel collection
I ordered them from >washiwednesday< (on etsy)
all of them :D

I ordered these two from >littlehappythings1< (etsy)
they were discontinued elsewhere; I don't know whether they are available anymore
this is my favourite tape
people who follow me on IG will know
because I use it all the time
it's so pretty. Since I used it a lot and gave away many samples it has become so thin
but I already ordered a backup from >washiwednesday<
unfortunately not here yet ;)
these are also rather basic MT pattern tapes
these are slim and extra slim tapes
those two with the traditional japanese pattern
have been released ages ago (bought on etsy via >cutethingsfromjapan<)

I'll say a bit more to these three tapes
this was my very first mt tape
at that time I didn't even know that MT washi tape was a brand and let alone what an mt limited edition meant
it actually cost 13 €
you see, I started wasting money for washi tape in the early ages of my planning history already
not wasing, I meant INVESTING , naturally ;)
I bought this one from >cutethingsfromjapan< (on etsy)
it's a flaky tape
such a pretty colour
I know it's still available on etsy
I don't know the name of the tape but I bought it from >cutethingsfromjapan< (etsy)
this is also an mt expo tape
bought via >ccsharetape> (etsy or website)
it's not a full roll but about 3 meters which
is enough for me
these are some special tapes
from the exhibition in Germany MT x VITRA
I wish I have had the chance to go there
It took place not too far away from where I live
but I did not have time so someone brought these "rolls" along for me
I think they are so fancy especially because of their triangular form
aren't they ? :P
again three slim tapes

I bought this butterfly tape there

this is my favourite and newest tape atm
also way too expensive :D
but it was too pretty not to buy

I found Mira in my early stage of planning
she mentioned this shop and at that time I also started to find out there existed a place like etsy
and it became one of my fav shops til now

I don't want to say much to these coupe of mt tapes
this is a blackboard tape from washiwednesday
I though I'd use it quite often
writing on it with chalk - but I never do that

black and white, there was a time I used them very frequently
not atm but also very pretty, basic is always good
I got all the basics from mt because hey really do provide the best quality
they stick very well and are easy to remove
this one I bought together with Mira at Luiban in Berlin
just another mt tape
this is an mt christmas tape
I bought this in Stuttgart
but if you search for mt christmas washi I am sure you will find it
these are basic mt slim tapes
I'd always buy them online
in stationery shops they do normally cost 29,90€
Online you get them for 20€ shipping included
this is also an mt tape with bottle illustrations
always available on etsy

there was a time when they were really IG-hyped so I really wanted to own them
I found them really late
and actually I never use them

won't go into detail for all of them

actually if you type in masté washi on etsy there won't be too many results to look through so you will eventually find all vailable patterns there
except for some discontinued ones
another @masking_mira inspired tape
she had it and luckily I could find a roll from >cutethingsfromjapan<
but it was sold out really quickly
though there was a restock by >davaoarts< on etsy (davaoartsandcrafts on IG)
where I boguht a backup tape
apart from that, search etsy for your desired pattern
I think this one is hard to find
or maybe... dunno, I am not 100% up to date :D
but I really like this one with it's light blue background
I bought it from >allentape< on etsy a looong time ago
cool shop, (etsy) but it is closed since a couple of months now. Don'T know wheter it's ever gonna reopen

as you can hear, I find all my tapes "super cool" :D
the upper row are mainly design tapes from chinese (etsy) shops
eg >ccsharetape<
these are tapes with paiintings printed on tape, but the quality is not always very good
but due to the quality reason I don't buy them anymore and I also don'T use these very often
most of them were from >ccsharetape<
this is a >dailylike< tape (brand name)
if you type that on etsy, you'll be able to find it
these are >Fion Stewart< tapes, Fion Stewart is a brand / designer
the designer makes really unique and pretty tapes
Again, I saw @masking_mira using the flowery tape and I needed to have it as well
I think they were all from the same collection
I bought them via >paperpluscloth< on etsy
or from >davaoarts< (etsy) / @davaoartsandcrafts (Instagram)
this is a mini sample from >ccsharetape<
and lol, yet again inspired by @masking_mira :D
she has actually been my biggest inspiration when I was a planner newbie
... and she still is :P
this is a tape from >linguine< (etsy)
I saw it on the Instagram of @dummesmaedchen and thought I needed to have it
It reminds me of two other tapes from >linchianing< which you will see later
this one is a little two darkish for me :P
a little anecdote
this is a >tools to live by< tape
I really reaaaally wanted to have it and searched so long
I bought it way too expensive via a singaporean etsy seller >mywritestuff<
but I can't recommend them. they didn't respond to ANY inquiries and shipped my order after 2-3 weeks.
this is a >Travelers notebook< tape
(and yet again) I reeeeaally wanted to have it when it was already discontinued for a long time
only because I have once been to hawaii and think I need everything related to this beautiful state :D
the bottom line is : I am quite glad I got it eventually
I could't buy it but a really sweet person from the US sent hers to me

there was a time I was crazily ordering all her washis
there I first saw the beautiful >linchianing< tapes
one's missing
by this time everyone will know them
I'm proud for having been one of the first to discover these gems ^.^
you know, those kinda tapes will forever hold a special place in your heart :D
I think they even hold 15 meters, that's a lot
this is THE frame tape
I gave away so so many samples that this is the third tape I bought a backup for
actually I don't buy backups for hoarding washis I will never use because I will never finish the first roll
(fun fact: there is no roll I have ever fully used up)
but this tape and the mt tape from the beginning are seriosuly about to end
this is the frame tape still nicely packed and wrapped
the rest...
I don't want to go into great detail about these girls tapes (you can find plenty of pictures on my IG feed when you scroll down!)
these are the super well known >La dolce Vita< tapes (check @bofa1992 on IG)
I don't use them a lot at the moment
Agaaain (:D) @masking_mira was the first German planner girl to have them; they were rather hard to get since they are from a taiwanese artist

this is actually not worth translating... *sigh* I accidentally terminated the first vid. But apparently I was able to piece them together again :D

they are really really pretty

I bought it for someone but the person never ever replied me again, so yeah
actually I didn't order ALL of them from >paperpluscloth< but I guess you can all get them there too
because these are from >linchianing< as well, just like both of them
these two are relatively new (bought directly via >linchianing< on IG)
I love the right one but until now I never managed to put it in any of my decorations
and this has a wide variety of minerals on it

I want to give you a close up of this one
rolled up it seems unimpressive
but look at the details and the colourgame!
Unfortunately, I am not able to incorporatedark colours into my planner (let's work on this)
I am not using these two ever too often, bought them last year

the green one is a >dailylike< tape
these three are from >chamil garden<
this one is super pretty, showing you a close-up
this is an all time favourite from >paperpluscloth<, another >roundtop< tape. with mountains this time
>paperpluscloth< might seem a bit expensive, especially for european customers due to shipping etc
but I mean the shop is in CANADA and she will be paying huge shipping and customs fees for bringing the tapes to herself in the first place
and we all know US / Canadian shipping fees are ... grrrrrrr
you can always try to get the tapes from the designers themselves
then it might be cheaper
but the shop owner is so so nice and the selected range from her shop always varies and is unique and so tasty!
though I haven't ordered there in quite a while... might be time again
this is also one of my all time faves
why? You can't go wrong with that

I don't use them super often but especially the flower garland one is really nice to put on big envelopes etc.
Just recently ordered these from the platform >aliexpress<
saw them on @tandemtour 's Instagram
maybe I can use them in summer since they show swimming pool and beach
a lot of people asked me about my stationery tapes
I bought them from @sandestationeryhut via Instagram
I only ordered once but she's a super friendly and helpful seller
all went well
lots of times when my week is just studying and barely anything more interesting is happening, I decorate it with a bit of stationery tape
these are my >kikusui< tapes
they seem refreshingly different to me
bought the peoples tape after I saw @masking_mira using it
I know some German shops stock >kikusui< tapes but it's really worth ordering from overseas
since you can get them half off and German shipping is often more expensive than from Taiwan or so xD (sad true story)
the texture is a bit different, a bit thinner and more "paperlike"
I really like them
a roll is 15 meters, which is quite a lot
this is a special one; it's like kraft paper and really thick
always good for the Traveler's Notebook

last year I had a medical law course where I stuck this tape everywhere
people kept asking me how I drew this
and were fascinated when I told them it was a tape

I immediately messaged her that I needed this tape but she was so sorry to say she did not have it, neither sample nor roll
that it was from Japan and, well, yea she couldn't get it for me
but luckily she told me the brands name

now there are two handsful of random washi left
but those are not really special
I don't use them, they're not in my inner circle xD
