Waching daily Feb 11 2017

Following a socio-economical collapse, the US government enacts a period of martial law,

and is forced to obtain the help of numerous megacorporations in order to maintain stability

in Night City.

Cyberpunk's cold dark setting.

This resulted in these megacorporations holding a ridiculous level of power, not only over

their employees, but society in general.

Cyberpunk 2077 is an upcoming RPG based on Mike Pondsmith's Cyberpunk role-playing game,

developed by the same studio behind The Witcher franchise, CD Projekt RED.

Announced in 2012, we still haven't heard any concrete news about a possible release

date, though many speculate that the title '2077' gives us a hint.

All joking aside, Cyberpunk is likely slated to release any time inbetween this year, 2017,

and 2021.

That's a pretty large window, but I'd rather see a complete game at launch, rather than

a broken mess.

So I'd say, CDPR, take your time.

But in the meantime, let's take a look at one of the core elements of Mike Pondsmith's

Cyberpunk, the megacorporations. And if any of you didn't know, Mike Pondsmith is the creator of Cyberpunk, and he's actually working very closely with CDPR to make this game.

As a result of the social collapse of Night City, the US government was forced to rely

on a number of megacorporations, including arms manufacturers, private military compaines,

even news outlets, in order to survive the collapse.

The outcome of this, was the US government giving these megacorporations the ability

to speak for the United States as a diplomat, while the government restablishes control

over the collapse.

In Night City itself, the city council is run by a number of representatives from local corporations

As a result of this, these corporations were given the ability to repeal a number of laws

that were previously enforced upon them.

For example, anti-trust laws, worker and consumer protection, as well as environmental protection

laws were repealed immediately.

This gave these corporations all of the power they could ever want over the stock market,

as well as job market.

Most of these corporations demonstrated their level of power by employing their own personal

armies, referred to as corporate security.

Because of this, competition between corporations has boiled over into legitimate armed conflicts,

on the same scale as a national conflict.

These conflicts are known as 'Corp Wars', and regularly result in industrial complexes

and neighbourhoods being blown into smitherines, further pushing society into destablization.

Although not much is written about these corps, let's take a look at our first megacorporation:

Arasaka - An industrial and financial powerhouse, focused on corporate security and police,

located in Tokyo, Japan.

The company's size and influence gives it an important role in transforming Japan into

a global superpower, which is exactly what it plans to do.

Biotechnica - An Italian company, headquarters situated in Rome, known for genetic engineering

and exploiting biological processes for industrial use.

The corporation is also a big player in the pharmacology and cybernetics scene.

Making them a likely suspect in the dehumanization of society.

Cyphire Cyberware - A smaller corporation that specializes in cybernetic enhancements,

such as vocal aid and physical enhancements.

Dakai Soundsystems - An Asian company working in cybernetic enhancements, primarily vocal

aid, including vocal enhancers and scramblers, as well as the more traditional communications

and audio technology, like computer and telephone networking.

They regulary join forces with Cyphire Cyberware to produce a variety of vocal enhancers for

those with cyber technology integrated into their body.

Dynalar Technologies - A local corporation, within Night City that is in the cybernetic

field, manufacturing a number of cybernetic implants, as well as cybernetic limbs, mainly

for women.

Interestingly enough, in the year 2077, a woman using cybernetic technology built by

Dynalar Tech, went on a rampage in downtown Night City.

This woman is likely the same one that we see in the teaser trailer.

Euro Business Machines, or EBM - EBM is a German company, located in Hamburg, that specializes

in software and hardware development, as well as hosting and consulting, along with the

storage and transfer of computer information.

Since the 1900's, it has remained the leading manufacturer of high-tech equipment, and is

constantly acquiring similar businesses to increase it's sphere of influence, as well

as it's market.

Infocomp - A company from Los Angeles, built on the concept of enhancing profit, controlling

risk, and reducing volatility in the means of business.

Infocomp also operates as an information repository, where data is stored in order to either, be

deleted, or operate autonomously.

International Electric Corporation, or IEC - IEC is a European business conglomerate

that operates through multiple segments, including corporate finance, insurance, construction,

transportation, software development and more.

Essentially acting as the backbone of infrastructure.

Kendachi - A Japanese company built on arms manufacturing and advanced technology, including

various editions of flamethrowers.

Likely another supporter in Japan's rise to a global power, as many arms manufcaturers

in the real world, focus most of their industrial power on developing weapons for various militaries.

Lazarus Group - A privately owned and privately operated military contracting and private

security firm working closely with the US government to provide services alongside,

or in the place of the military.

Militech - Similar to Lazarus Group, Militech is also a major mercenary contractor working

alongside the US military and police forces.

Although in addition, Militech is an American arms manufacturer that shares Arasaka's dreams

of creating a superpower, though Militech seeks to restore the United States as a global

power, rather than Japan.

Merril, Asukaga and Finch - A publicly owned wealth management company, focused on financial

analysis and acquiring owernship stakes in various other companies.

Microtech - A technology company that develops, licenses, supports, and sells computer software

and consumer electronics, such as computers, phones, as well as sophisticated workstations

and mainframes.

Mitsubishi-Sugo - A major automotive and transportation manufacturer.

We will likely see this company many times throughout the game, seeing as vehicles may

very well play a huge role in the games navigation.

Network News 54 - An American broadcasting company that provides 24 hour news station

within Night City.

They make use of the media to document their stories, the media being a playable role,

first appearing in Cyberpunk 2013 Orbital Air - An African corporation located

in Nairobi, Kenya, soley based on space transportation of equipment, materials and people, including

the maintainance of orbital facilities.

Not to mention, they have a monopoly on the whole shabang.

Petrochem - An energy company responsible for the generation, transmission, distribution

and sale of electrical power to the general public, as well as advanced agriculture.

Without these guys, the scene we see in the teaser trailer would look a lot darker.

Raven Microcybernetics - Another player in the cybernetics scene, though it is much larger

than Biotechnica, in fact it is the leading company in it's field.

SovOil - An oil company that internally adopts communist ideals, and actually sees itself

as a successor to the all time great Soviet corporations.

SovOil owns a large percentage of the petrochemical market, likely being either a competitor,

or a supplier for Petrochem.

Trauma Team International - Headquarterd in Los Angeles, this corporation is a private

mediacal firm, providing ambulance and paramedical services, disaster relief, even combat search

and rescue for the military, and police in various countries.

World News Service - A world wide news agency located in the United Kingdom.

Like Network News 54, they utilize the media to write and record their stories.

World Satellite Communications Network, or WorldSatCom - A French company that works

in the satellite communications industry, transmitting messages and information through

high frequency satellite relays for multiple countries.

Zetatech - Headquartered in Cupertino California, Zetatech is among a number of fairly new corporations,

specializing in computer hardware and software design, as well as robotics and cybernetics.

10 Movie Mistakes You Won't Believe Made The Cut - Duration: 6:50.

As we have learned over the years, even the biggest and best movies in the world often

feature some pretty funny mistakes.

Of course, having a few mistakes doesn't make them bad movies – it's just an extra

fun thing for us to look for!

Enjoy the slip-ups on our list and be sure to stick around to the end to find out about

some bonus mistakes that our friends over at The Richest were able to find!

For now, here is 10 Movie Mistakes You Won't Believe Made The Cut.

Enjoy the video and be sure to hit the subscribe button to stay up to date with all our new

stuff!

Captain America: Civil War Captain America: Civil War brought Marvel

some incredible commercial and critical success and many people have argued that it is the

best MCU film to date.

That being said, the movie isn't without it's fair share of goofs and slip ups.

In the first Avengers briefing with the Secretary, it can be clearly seen that, in the background,

Tony Stark is wearing a wedding ring.

The problem is, when the shot changes, Tony can be seen in the same position – but this

time with no ring.

It's not uncommon for playboys like Mr. Stark to take off their wedding ring once

and a while but we have to think this was an editing mistake and not a character choice.

Suicide Squad Suicide Squad is by no measure a perfect movie,

actually it's not even close – so it's not really surprising that along with the

poor decisions the film made it also made some visible continuity mistakes too.

When Harley is changing and the whole crew stops to look at her undeniably hot body,

there is a continuity mistake that totally slips through.

In the moment right before we see that Will Smith's Deadshot is wearing a white shirt.

The movie then cuts to Harleys super hot stripping scene but when we cut back, Smith is wearing

a totally different dark coloured shirt.

We are guessing that Robbie's bod distracted most fans and it looks like the folks editing

Suicide Squad may have been as well.

Doctor Strange 2016's Doctor Strange is just another example

of how Marvel can take a lesser-known property and turn it into a serious hit.

With Cumberbatch leading the way, the film introduced us to some new magical elements

of the MCU, but unfortunately, all the magic in the world couldn't fix some mistakes

in this film.

At one point, Stephen Strange is at home looking for help on a video chat and when he becomes

frustrated he throws everything on his table to the ground.

Christine then enters with food for him and when the camera cuts back, we can see that

all of the things he just knocked to the ground have magically been placed back on the table.

Doctor Strange may have some awesome powers but we don't think instant tidying up is

one of them.

The Wolf Of Wall Street Not counting a 2005 documentary that is literally

called the F word, The Wolf Of Wall Street holds the record for the most uses of the

expletive in a film with 506 F bombs.

The movie is a wild ride and along with all the swearing there is also some pretty steamy

sex scenes between Leo and Margot Robbie.

One of these scenes actually features a pretty funny continuity error as Leo's pants magically

jump on to his body between cuts after his final love making session with Robbie.

We're guessing you probably didn't catch this editing mistake as there are a lot of

other things on the screen to be looking at, but once you've seen it, it's hard not

to laugh at.

Jurassic World Although it was met with mixed critiques,

there is no denying that Jurassic World was a commercial success as it raked in well over

1.5 Billion dollars in 2015.

The movie was undoubtedly exciting and Chris Pratt did a great job with his character but

unfortunately, even with all that money behind it, the movie still had some visible slip

ups.

In the scene when Hoskins first approaches the raptor cage, we can see that his watch

shows approximately 2pm.

After the rescue of the staff member who falls into the pit, the shot cuts back again to

Hoskins and his watch now reads 1pm.

This movie features a lot of crazy science, but we don't think it dealt with time travel

so we are going to have to chalk this one up as a continuity error!

La La Land La La Land is a force to be reckoned with

as the 2016 Hollywood musical has now officially tied the record for most Oscar nominations

of all time.

This film takes every last details in to consideration, but even the most carefully crafted cinema

can fall victim to some continuity issues.

On the day Sebastian (played by Ryan Gosling) visits Mia (played by Emma Stone) at her coffee

shop, Mia had been shown entering work wearing black pants and carrying a yellow bag.

But, when Mia leaves work, she is wearing a blue skirt and holding a red bag.

Over the next few cuts, Mia's outfit continues to change from skirt to pants.

It's a very small mistake and in a movie that has the actors singing and dancing through

the stars, this little slip up likely goes unnoticed.

Avengers: Age Of Ultron The Avengers movies admittedly have a lot

on their plates with all of the characters and storylines needing to intertwine in just

the right way to make sure everything in the MCU makes sense.

It is understandable then, how some small editing errors can slip past the filmmakers

and make it to the final cut.

In Avengers Age Of Ultron's big chase through the streets of Seoul, Capt. America's shield

starts out with a few scratches and smudges that are clearly visible.

While his shield is strong, we don't think it has regenerative powers so it must be an

editing mistake that by the end of the chase, Cap's shield is magically spotless.

Hell Or High Water Hell Or High Water was one of the most criminally

underrated and under watched films from 2016 and hopefully it's Best Picture nomination

will help convince more people to go see it.

If you do take the time to see this thrilling piece of cinema, try to catch the editing

mistake from the start of the film.

As Ben Foster and Chris Pine are driving off after their first bank robbery, Foster is

shown taking off his right glove and putting the hand back on the steering wheel.

But, in the next shot from outside the car, his gloves have magically jumped back on his

hands.

This is a high intensity moment, so we are guessing that viewers didn't catch this

on the first watch, but that's what we're here for!

Zootopia Zootopia is a lot of a fun and did a great

job of introducing us to some hilarious characters while also promoting a pretty meaningful message.

One of the best characters in the film is Yax, who is of course played by the notoriously

chill Tommy Chong.

Unfortunately for Yax, he is the subject of our latest movie mistake as he completely

messes up what he calls himself.

Yax, who doesn't wear clothes, incorrectly refers to himself and his fellow nudists as

"Naturalists", which actually means experts or students of natural history.

What he meant to say, was "Naturists", as in people who don't wear any clothes.

It's unclear if this mistake was on purpose or not, but either way, we spotted it!

Deadpool In one scene

from Deadpool you can clearly see the Merc with a mouth have his right hand chopped off.

The problem with this is that just a few moments later, when Deadpool falls into the dumpsters,

you can totally see his hand still attached.

While some people could argue that this is just Deadpool regenerative power working at

light speed, we think it's far more likely that this is just a case of discontinuity,

leaving us with a pretty funny movie mistake.

Deadpool also has another editing mistake hidden in it, but we can't take credit for

finding this one.

Check out the video our friends at The Richest Youtube channel just put out all about shocking

slip ups from some of the biggest films in recent years, the Deadpool mistake will definitely

surprise you!

Do Reworks Make Champions Less Fun? - League of Legends - Duration: 13:55.

What's up guys it's me Jeremy!

Reworks are generally designed to make champions more healthy, for example by fixing up broken

mechanics, but often times this results in making them a lot less fun to play.

We wanted to explore this topic and consider the different things that go into reworking

a champion, and how those changes actually affect how interesting or exciting they are

to play.

We've talked a ton about reworks in the past, but we've never actually sat down

at discussed whether they are actually FUN to play or not, so it seemed like a pretty

good idea to talk about broken mechanics, clunkiness and the perception of fun.

And if you enjoy the video definitely hit that like button because if this video hits,

let's say <X> ratings, then I'm gonna <x>.

Riot Fizz Enthusiast was recently talking about the concept of fun and how that ties

into the rework process.

There's a handful of reasons that Riot uses as criteria for picking out which champions

need reworks the most, and one of the most popular reasons is to fix unhealthy mechanics.

So we've talked about unhealthy mechanics before, and how Riot believes that if a champion

can't do something that makes the enemy at least a little frustrated, then the champion

isn't worth playing, but you have to draw a line somewhere and a lot of the time reworks

come around as a result of mechanics being more frustrating to play against than they

are fun to play.

Fizz Enthusiast weighed in on this concept using Fizz as his example, since a lot of

players haven't been all that happy with the Fizz rework.

So before his rework, Fizz had some pretty serious insta-kill potential that players

obviously had a ton of fun using.

Using W-Q to burst out a squishy was insanely fun to Fizz players, there's no doubt about

that.

The issue was that it hurt the amount of fun the enemy team could derive from playing in

that game, and it was hurting it to the point where people just hated playing League if

they had to play against Fizz.

Fizz Enthusiast explained this point by talking about holistic fun - essentially the amount

of fun that everyone in the game is having as a group.

Say for example that before Fizz's rework, getting insta WQ kills was giving you a solid

10 points of fun out of the maximum of 10.

Now also assume that thanks to the Fizz that is destroying everything, no one else on your

team is having a bad time so they would be at a 10/10 as well.

That means on your team, out of 50 points of fun, you've nailed all 50, great!

But for the enemy team playing against the fed Fizz and getting instakilled?

It's probably more like 2/10 each.

Add it all together, and you're getting only 60 points of fun out of the maximum of

100.

This is where these 'health-driven' reworks really come into play, it's not just about

changing how players enjoy one champion, it's about making that champion better for the

game in general.

Let's use that same example to talk about Fizz after his rework - where he's arguably

a lot less fun, maybe something like 6/10.

As the Fizz player, the game isn't nearly as fun as it was before the rework, but the

rest of your team is still having a great time at 10/10.

But for the people playing against Fizz, let's say the game is a little more fun for them.

Even if it only increased a tiny amount - like up to 3/10 instead of 2/10, that would make

a huge difference.

Yes, the Fizz player has lost out on a bit of the joy of dominating with Fizz, but the

game is now less frustrating for the enemy team and overall, people are enjoying the

game more.

In this case, it would be 61/100 - 6 points from Fizz, 10 from each of his teammates,

and 15 for the enemy team.

Obviously these numbers are pretty arbitrary and it's a weird way of looking at it, but

it's just an example of how changes to champions might make them seem less fun, but it's

really important for the game health overall.

Riot will always value 'fun to play' higher than 'frustrating to play against' but

they have to strike the right balance.

A huge part of this is trying to find a way to give the fun back to the reworked champion

in a healthy way.

If reworked Fizz without the W-Q instakill was at 6/10, Riot needs to find a way to give

him that 4/10 back, with one catch - it has to be fair so that it's not too frustrating

for the enemy team.

This is really the main reason that reworks can result in less exciting gameplay - when

you pick up a champion to play a game with, you want to abuse their broken and frustrating

mechanics because those things are obviously really fun to use.

But for the enemy team, that game now sucks because you're doing those things, meaning

it's all out of balance and just kinda bad for the game.

One pretty successful example of Riot doing a good job with this is the Katarina rework.

She might have been a 10/10 fun pub-stomper before her rework, but afterwards she was

definitely less raw fun to play in terms of using frustrating, unstoppable mechanics against

the enemy team.

To add fun back into Katarina, Riot used the dagger mechanic to offer her new ways to reset

Shunpo and keep skipping around the map.

This was a really health change because it encourages both reactive and proactive thinking,

while being fun to both play and play against.

You feel awesome if you pull off an awesome move with her dagger resets, and it feels

like you have a fair chance to outplay a Katarina that is trying it against you, so that's

fun too!

This is the main reason that Riot is always going to get backlash when they rework popular

champions.

The things players love about a champion tends to be the things that are most frustrating

for enemies - and that means popular champions that need reworks are pretty much always doing

something unfair, and Riot are forced to find a way to compensate for that without introducing

any more broken shit into the game.

On the flip side, boring champions that get reworks are usually really well received,

because they usually had awful gameplay beforehand so any kind of update is a welcome change.

The next thing related to fun that was touched on by Fizz Enthusiast was clunkiness, which

is actually a pretty tricky concept to nail down by the easiest way to think about is

to play some Lucian or Yasuo and then swap to another champion.

Lucian and Yasuo both feel seriously smooth because their auto-attacks, movement abilities

and damage abilities all flow together in a really fluid way, which is a huge part of

why they are both seriously fun to play and really satisfying to outplay people with.

Riot can't design every single champion to have a fluid kit though, because it only

occurs in a certain cases where it suits the champion, and having a lot of really smooth

champions will just make everyone pick that over the closest clunky alternative just because

the kit is more fun to use.

Fizz Enthusiast pointed out that a while ago, there was a time where almost every blind

pick game had Yasuo and Lucian in it - even though those champions weren't particularly

strong at the time.

People eventually started banning Lucian despite the fact that he had a winrate below 50%,

simply because they were totally fed up with playing the same game every time - just with

and against Lucian.

A big part of not being clunky is having an escape mechanic, because it adds the feeling

of fluidity into a champion's kit.

This was a big part of why Lucian was popular over other ADCs like Jinx - why pick someone

that does the same job but is slow and can't escape, making them riskier and maybe even

boring?

Riot have a tough time designing champions because of this, because they know that there

has to be SOME clunkiness to introduce variety into the game, while the player base just

wants rid of clunkiness entirely.

This is actually one of the biggest issues that League players have when they are trying

out DOTA actually - because DOTA has one mechanic present on all heroes that is innately clunky.

It's called turn speed, and it means exactly what it sounds like - unlike League of Legends

where moving in the opposite direction will occur instantly no matter what champion you

play, all DOTA heroes have a delay where they have to turn to face the new direction before

they will start moving that way.

Compared to League, it makes movement seriously clunky and it can be really jarring for a

League player to deal with, but even though DOTA has this seriously clunky feature, almost

every single hero gets played in ranked or at the professional level.

Surprising, turn speed is a huge factor in keeping things diverse, because it's essentially

a balancing lever for melee vs range.

For example think about something like Garen and Ashe.

You can't really play Garen in High ELO League, because he's simply too slow to

get into range to be effective, whereas Ashe can kite insanely well in order to dps and

stay safe simultaneously, just by walking back, attacking, and then repeating those

two steps.

Now compare that to what happens in DOTA, where turn speed is a thing.

If Garen was chasing Ashe and Ashe had a turn speed, she wouldn't be able to orb-walk

as effectively because every attack and movement command would have that turn speed as a delay

in between.

Garen on the other hand would be able to just charge straight at Ashe without worrying about

turn speed - he's only heading in one direction.

If Ashe wanted to turn around to attack Garen, she'd have to put herself in way more danger

to do so by giving Garen the chance to close the distance between them.

This is why heroes like Garen who totally suck at high ELO on League, are actually still

viable in DOTA - because ranged carries have to deal with that clunky turn speed to be

effective, it's an extra cost they will have to pay if they want to keep dealing damage

from a safe distance.

This is a big part of what makes DOTA so diverse compared to League, and it's a reasonable

example of clunky mechanics just being a part of the game that players have to accept will

always exist.

Anyway that just about wraps up everything we wanted to talk about regarding reworks

and making champions fun - balancing fun against frustration is hard to do, and Riot are always

looking for ways to add fun in ways that will cause minimal frustration as a result.

As far as clunkiness goes, it would be great in a perfect world where no champion was clunky

so there was no damage to champion variety, but those champions take so long to design

to get that smooth effect that it's not realistic for Riot to be able to do that.

As a result, they pretty much have no choice but to design champions that are at least

a little clunky, so that they won't just be automatically ruled out of play because

of their more fun and fluid counterparts.

Make sure you leave us a comment with your thoughts on reworks so far, and whether you

think Riot has done a good job in making gameplay healthier without sacrificing too much fun

in the process.

And it looks like that's gonna be it from me, if you enjoyed the video drop a like,

subscribe if you want, thanks for watching, and I'll see you guys next time!

3 Red Carpet Trends | Kin Community - Duration: 3:24.

(techno music)

- There are no two things I love more

than music and fashion.

So when it comes to the biggest music aware show of the year

you now I got you covered for all the best red carpet looks.

Here's what you can expect to see

starting with the first trend.

Sparkles have always been a thing on the red carpet

but this is a whole new thing, it's sequinned designs.

We're seeing this all the time and for my look

I decided to use a vintage sequin head to toe dress

with star designs on it.

You guys are gonna laugh but I stole this dress

from my mom.

She wore it in the 80s when she was pregnant with me.

I just love the way the stars almost look like embellishment

on the sequin dress.

The blue is super bright and punchy.

Drop away silhouettes like this one

remind me of the 1920s and the Gatsby era.

So I went all the way with that whole vibe,

I put my hair up in a pony tail and added drop earrings

to give an extra sparkle and frame my face.

It takes things from an otherwise new years eve look

to a really glam red carpet outfit.

I have a soft spot for anything girly

so I happen to love this second trend.

It's flowy feminine.

You'll know you've spotted this on the red carpet

when you see three details,

ruffles, sheer fabrics, and pastel colors.

This look combines all of those.

The ruffles are totally a statement

but still soft and pretty

and then of course you have the sheer fabric

that's not too sexy 'cause it has that print.

Everything is tied together in this pastel palate

that really brings home the feminine trend.

In this particular case I went with a romper

to really keep things fresh.

Because of the neutral palate in this case

it gives you a great backdrop

for al the jewelry you wanna highlight.

To spice up the girlyness of this romper

I threw on a pair of over-the-knee boots in a nude color

so they don't get too over the top.

This gives it just a hint of sexiness.

If you wanna kick things up a notch

you can throw on a bold statement coat.

It is rock and roll after all.

Musicians have never shied away

from wearing provocative clothes on the red carpet.

This trend is an example of that.

We're talking about extreme plunging necklines.

I found the perfect bodycon dress inspired by this trend.

The mesh overlay along the neckline

makes sure that the look doesn't get overly sexy

yet still keeps things daring and fun.

This is definitely the most rock and roll

of all three outfits.

When I said extreme I meant extreme

so that neckline can even come all the way down

to your belly button.

Since this look is definitely the most daring of all three

I went all the way with the edge factor

adding a motorcycle jacket and tons of layered accessories.

To offset all the black I added a red bold lip

and these really fun red suede platforms.

With a normal plunging neckline

you may have to worry about a slipup happening,

this one you don't.

The material is all one,

the mesh overlay keeps things fitted to your chest,

and you don't have to worry about all the under garments.

I'm so curious to see what comes down the red carpet.

My predictions, one sequinned designs;

two, flowy feminine; and three, extreme plunging necklines.

Thanks for watching guys.

Don't forget to leave a comment, subscribe to Kin Community,

and I will see you next time.

now we will mix and if you think that your dough isnt forming then you can add 2-3 tbsp of milk

as you can see the dough has formed and i have been needing it for -3 minutes

and now we will make the balls for the rasmalai

you will need to make the balls this size but if u want you can make it how big and what shape you want but i am making it round

as you can see the balls are made

the milk has boiled and now we will add the double cream

now we will let it cook for 2-3 more minutes because we have added cream

i havent added sugar yet because by adding sugar it will stick to the bottom and burn so we will add it after it cooks

now we will add sugar you can add how much you want or how less you want

now we will add the green cardamom and the powdered nuts

as you can see the colour is changing

as you can see the milk has cooked and now we will ad the rasmalai balls

and we will keep the heat medium

as you can see the rasmalai balls are rising and we have to keep the heat slow for 20 minutes

now we are going to let it cook until the rasmalai balls rise properly

as you can see after 20 minutes it has cooked and you cant shut the gas until the milk becomes thick

it should be thick like mine

now we are going to add the nuts

and now we are going to let it cool until it doesnt set properly

that is your rasmalai ready

HOW BIG FOOD & EDUCATION MADE US BELIEVE 'MILK DOES THE BODY GOOD' WHEN IT REALLY DOESN'T – SEE FOR - Duration: 17:12.

HOW BIG FOOD & EDUCATION MADE US BELIEVE MILK DOES THE BODY GOOD WHEN IT REALLY DOESNT

 SEE FOR YOURSELF.

Oh, good old dairy! Im sure you remember being a kid and having your mother tell you,

Drink your milk! You need it to grow and be strong! Or perhaps your mom was ahead of the

curve and saw through the mass marketing campaign designed to convince us that we require milk

to live a healthy life.

Aside from the obvious reasons why we dont need cows milk no other animal drinks

the milk from another species; we no longer need milk once weaned from our own mothers;

and cows milk is, well, meant for baby cows to grow into giant cows we most certainly

do not need dairy.

Got Milk?

This whole dairy faade began upon the premise that we need calcium, which we do, and that

we can only get it through dairy products, which is false. There are a number of vegetables

that contain even more calcium than milk, including broccoli, kale, cabbage, and watercress,

along with a variety of nuts and seeds. But we never see ads on television telling us

to eat our broccoli, even though it has many more health benefits than milk. Simply put,

there is no lobbying behind broccoli.

Milk is heavily pushed into the mainstream media; of course we all remember those infamous

Got Milk? advertisements which used celebrities to endorse milk and which portrayed drinking

milk as being both cool and health conscious. And now they have gone even further with the

new ad campaign funded by Canadian dairy farmers, Milk Every Moment, with a slogan that pulls

on your heart strings: Not everything made sense when you were a kid, but drinking milk

did. They certainly know their business.

The following video created by Vox outlines the absurdity of milk quite nicely. Have a

look!

Milk Simply Isnt Good For Us

I should be clear about this statement: conventional pasteurized milk is not good for us. The cattle

used to create this milk are pumped full of hormones and antibiotics, all of which end

up in the milk we are consuming along with blood, puss, and fecal matter. The pasteurization

process, moreover, destroys any beneficial enzymes within the milk. Not to mention that

these dairy cows are virtually kept pregnant until retirement, without even having an opportunity

for their calves to drink the milk that was made for them in the first place.

Its a horrific, backwards system. And while many people believe that raw, organic milk

does offer many health benefits, it is actually illegal to sell this milk in Canada (go figure).

Either way, I still dont think milk is a necessary staple; cows milk is made for

baby cows.

A large study coming from researchers at the Uppsala University in Sweden found that drinking

milk led to an increased mortality rate and actually made bones more prone to fracturing,

not less. Recently published in the peer reviewed British Medical Journal, it was specifically

conducted to examine whether high milk consumption is associated with mortality and fractures

in both men and women.

The study took place across three different counties in Sweden, and used data from two

large Swedish cohorts, one with 61,433 women aged approximately 39-74 years old and one

with 45,339 men aged approximately 45-79 years old. They were all administered food frequency

questionnaires. The study used multivariable survival models that were applied to

determine the association between milk consumption and time to mortality and fracture.

The results were as follows:

During a mean follow-up of 20.1 years, 15?541 women died and 17?252 had a fracture, of whom

4259 had a hip fracture. In the male cohort with a mean follow-up of 11.2 years, 10?112

men died and 5066 had a fracture, with 1166 hip fracture cases. In women the adjusted

mortality hazard ratio for three or more glasses of milk a day compared with less than one

glass a day was 1.93 (95% confidence interval 1.80 to 2.06). For every glass of milk, the

adjusted hazard ratio of all cause mortality was 1.15 (1.13 to 1.17) in women and 1.03

(1.01 to 1.04) in men. For every glass of milk in women no reduction was observed in

fracture risk with higher milk consumption for any fracture (1.02, 1.00 to 1.04) or for

hip fracture (1.09, 1.05 to 1.13). The corresponding adjusted hazard ratios in men were 1.01 (0.99

to 1.03) and 1.03 (0.99 to 1.07). In subsamples of two additional cohorts, one in males and

one in females, a positive association was seen between milk intake and both urine 8-iso-PGF2a

(a biomarker of oxidative stress) and serum interleukin 6 (a main inflammatory biomarker).

The study concluded that high milk intake was associated with higher mortality in one

cohort of women and in another cohort of men, and with higher fracture incidence in women,

though it concluded that, Given the observational study designs with the inherent possibility

of residual confounding and reverse causation phenomena, a cautious interpretation of the

results is recommended.

This is just one example; there have been countless other studies that reveal this same

risk.

Okay Ill Give Up Milk, Now What?

You are not alone! The truth about milk is starting to come to light and many are opting

for alternatives.

U.S. milk consumption has been steadily declining by 25 percent per capita since the

mid-1970s. Americans, on average, drink 37 percent less milk today than they did in 1970,

according to data from the USDA, said Nil Zacharias, Co-Founder of One Green Planet,

On the other side, non-dairy milk sales are up 30 percent since 2011, representing

a $2 billion category, and growth is expected to continue outpacing dairy milk sales at

least through 2018. Consumers dont want milk anymore, and better alternatives are

growing every day.

Almond, cashew, rice, hemp, soy, and pea-protein milks are all available to you at most grocery

stores. The demand for these alternatives is increasing so more options are becoming

available all the time. You can even, quite easily, make your own nut milks. Check out

this recipe for a homemade almond milk, or this one for a homemade cashew and almond

milk blend.

Lets just leave the cows milk to go where it was intended: the baby cows!

Much Love

Despite how unnatural milk consumption beyond infancy is in the natural world every

other species weans their young off milk after a certain age and then never drinks it again

humans continue to be bombarded with the idea that cows milk not only does the

body good, but is also the best source of calcium available to us. We are told that

we cannot achieve strong and healthy bones if we do not consume this type of calcium,

and thanks to remarkable marketing efforts on the part of the dairy industry, we believe

it.

The idea that milk is needed for strong bones is a widespread belief, but research is now

showing there may be significant flaws to this supposition. Many people are unaware

that humans never possessed the enzyme necessary to break down the sugar in milk (lactose)

in the first place, and many still dont. At some point in human evolution, some of

us experienced a mutation in the LTC, or lactase, gene, which allowed a small portion of us

to process lactose as adults. Approximately 65-75 percent of the population, however,

remains incapable of properly processing lactose, which begs the question, is consuming the

milk thats meant for young cows really natural and healthy for human beings?

Calcium can be found in abundance in many plant-based sources, but all we hear about,

unfortunately, is milk and calcium supplements a reality which clearly serves both the

dairy and the pharmaceutical industry.

Calcium Supplements

Millions of people in the United States take calcium supplements, but does anyone ever

ask why? Sayer Ji from Greenmedinfo.com explains the situation:

The seemingly universal popularity of taking elemental calcium supplements results from

the promotional efforts of conventional health experts and organizations like the National

Osteoporosis Foundation (whose corporate sponsors include the calcium manufacturers Oscal and

Citrical). Also, the World Health Organization created a radically new definition of normal

bone density in 1994 when it took the 25-year old young adult standard (which is peak bone

mass in a womens life cycle), also known as the T-score, and applied it to all

women, irrespective of their age.

There is no shortage of concerning research on calcium supplementation. One notable example,

published in the journal Heart, found a 24-27 percent increased risk of heart attack in

those who took 500mg of elemental calcium a day. These findings were also confirmed

by another study that was recently published in the British Medical Journal.

This particular study involved 24,000 people between the ages of 35 and 63, finding that

those who took regular doses of calcium supplement increased their risk of having a heart attack

by an alarming 86 percent, compared to those who took no calcium supplements at all. The

University of California Berkeley reiterates:

However, studies published in the past few years have probably made many people wonder

if they should stop taking the pills. First, some studies have linked calcium pills to

increased risk of heart disease. And in 2012, the influential U.S. Preventive Services Task

Force dropped a bombshell when its draft recommendations concluded that standard doses of supplemental

calcium and vitamin D dont prevent fractures in postmenopausal women.

These studies do not come without criticism. For the particular study cited above, Dr.

Deepak Bhatt, a cardiologist at Harvard Brigham and Womens hospital stated,

The study did not provide iron-clad evidence of a connection between calcium supplements

and heart attack. Although its not the first report suggesting this connection, no

study has definitely proven that excessive calcium intake contributes to plaque formation

and heart disease

Harvard says calcium supplements are still safe to take, and its important to keep

in mind that many other studies have not found a link between calcium pills and coronary

risk, but some have.

Its no secret that calcium is needed for many bodily functions, and getting adequate

amounts of calcium during childhood is very important for bone health (though its important

to mention that many studies have shown that calcium is not as important for bone health

as we believe).

For example, a study conducted by researchers at Uppsala University in Sweden found that

drinking milk actually led to an increased mortality rate and made bones more prone to

fracturing not less.

And a study published in the American Journal of Public Health showed that dairy consumption

might actually increase the risk of fractures by 50 percent.

In a paper published in the Journal of the American Medical Association Pediatrics, Harvard

pediatrician David Ludwig emphasizes that bone fracture rates tend to be lower in countries

that do not consume milk compared to those that do, also noting that there are many other

sources of calcium.

Sayer Ji had this to say about why we shouldnt really be surprised by the dangers of calcium

supplements:

People really should not be so surprised at the idea that calcium supplementation may

be toxic to cardiovascular health. After all, many subject themselves to coronary and cardiac

calcium scans in order to ascertain their risk of cardiovascular events and/or cardiac

mortality. This is because we know that calcium of the wrong kind in the wrong place can result

in serious adverse health effects. There are, in fact, quite a few in the field of nutrition

who have long warned against supplementation with elemental calcium; which is to say, calcium

from limestone, oyster shell, egg shell and bone meal (hydroxylapatite).

Why Calcium From Food Is Better

There are a number of foods that can provide one with adequate amounts of calcium. The

list is quite long in fact, including things like kale, oranges, beans, green peas, chickpeas,

quinoa, seeds, hemp, and more. Apart from the information listed above, why take supplements

when you can simply take food, especially if there is research showing these pills are

potentially harmful? Moreover, your body is actually hardwired to reject low quality

calcium sources, because supplements are not usually bound to the amino acids, lipids,

and glyconutrients that are commonly found in food and which aid in absorption:

Inorganic or elemental calcium, when not bound to the natural co-factors, e.g.

amino acids, lipids and glyconutrients, found in food (which is to say other living

beings, e.g. plants and animals), no longer has the intelligent delivery system that enables

your body to utilize it in a biologically appropriate manner. Lacking this delivery

system, the calcium may end up going to places you do not want (ectopic calcification),

or go to places you do want (e.g. the bones), but in excessive amounts, stimulating unnaturally

accelerated cell-division (osteoblasts), resulting in higher bone turn over rates later in life.

Other great ways to strengthen your bones include consuming more planet-derived calcium,

magnesium, Vitamin K2 (from grass-fed organic animal products), and trace minerals, as well

as getting natural sunlight (vitamin D). Although the mainstream medical industry wont emphasize

this, one of the best ways to have healthy bones is to eat a diet rich in raw, fresh

whole foods that maximize natural minerals, so your body has the materials it needs to

do what nature intended it to do.

Book Recommendation To Learn More

Almost a decade ago now, Robert Thompson, M.D., wrote a book called The Calcium Lie.

Apart from doing your own research and going through all of the studies, this book is a

a great place to start. The book details how what weve been led to believe about calcium

and its role in preventing osteoporosis is a myth.

When Dr. Thompson wrote this book, he stated that the overconsumption of calcium creates

other mineral deficiencies and imbalances that will increase ones risk of heart disease,

kidney stones, gallstones, osteoarthritis, obesity, hypothyroidism, and Type 2 diabetes.

Since his book was published, a number of studies have emerged which lend further credibility

to his theories.

Its a great place to start if youre looking to further your research.

The Courage Test l Kids Book Review - Duration: 5:09.

Hi guys it's Carrie Anne from EverythingMom and this week's book pick is actually perfect

for middle grade readers.

The Courage Test by James Preller.

The story itself is about a father and son road trip, an epic road trip.

Will's parents who are divorced decided that Will should spend time with his father doing

this epic road trip over the summer.

Will of course being reluctant, he lives with his mom and doesn't have a very strong relationship

with his dad.

So you can imagine the anxiety that would bring.

Although you know a little bit of the mother, you're introduced to her at the beginning,

and you hear about the girlfriend, most of the story is with Will and his dad doing the

road trip.

So that was the one thing that really drew me to this book.

And the road trip that they were taking was the path of the explorers Lewis and Clark.

And because Will's dad is really keen on Lewis and Clark, had been working on a book for

years, and wants to share his love with his son but like most kids they view these "sharing"

moments as opportunities to educate.

And sometimes that can come across as like the whole eye rolling.

But seeing this landscape, this untouched landscape, opens Will's eyes to a whole other

world that he hadn't thought of.

And some encounters that Will and his dad experience together - hiking quietly, there

is a bear encounter from hiking, canoeing, there is a hitchhiker that they encounter

and so they interact with her and try to help her - so there are a lot of elements in this

road trip that bring I think Will and his dad closer together in some sort of understanding.

Will decides at the beginning of the trip, he picks up a bunch of postcards, and every

once in a while he would write a postcard to his mom.

To break up sort of the text in the book there are handwritten script text indicating these

postcard messages to his mom.

There is also just this italicized text, is more Will's writing about the "what I did

on my summer vacation", about this trip.

In that text he explains some of his own personal discoveries that he made following Lewis and

Clark and just an appreciation of and what they did.

But also the not so nice parts that gave him a new perspective on just what kind of an

epic trip that was they took compared to just their two week modern day trip.

The Courage Test.

It's a great, sort of the adventure part you know for tweens who may have an interest in

kind of like a little bit of history.

It's in there.

The travel aspect, doing this road trip and that adventure in the wilderness: camping,

whitewater rafting.

There's that part.

And I think there's just sort of the family part.

Seeing the evolution of this relationship between Will and his dad.

And also just Will himself, how he's kind of grown as a person in this short timeframe.

Grown to have a little more courage in things he didn't think he could do and facing things

that he's going to have to face in the future.

And then maybe being a little more open and understanding with his dad.

It's great to see stories that have these different family dynamics, that his parent's

are divorced.

That his mom is dealing with kind of an illness, is not well.

That his dad is, has started to create a new life but that doesn't mean his old life he's

done with including his son.

I loved The Courage Test for all of those reasons.

It was a great read.

I'll include the link below for a little more information on the book itself and where you

can find it.

As always, you know you can find me here on Wednesday's sharing this week's book for kids.

Anything from books for babies all the way up to young adult.

If there's a specific age range that you're interested in or your kids are fascinated

with certain topics, be sure to leave it in the comments below so I can keep that in mind

for future book reviews.

You can also see me here talking family travel, mom confessions sort of thoughts going through

my mind, and just other fun family stuff.

So, don't forget to subscribe so you know when the next video is published.

And until next time.

Ciao.

Five Reasons Why You Should NOT Buy The iPhone 7 - Duration: 5:57.

Hello, What is up? My name is Dan, today we are going to be talking about

5 reasons why you should not buy the iPhone 7 and

then obviously wait and

possibly buy the iphone 8 so I guess

that one of the biggest reasons is one it's a

similar design

The iPhone hasn't changed much since the

iPhone 6 when it changed from a

and more boxy design actually karate

design with your iphone success

it wasn't what you made a difference

either and it's being internal like speed

and with that and with the iphone 7

which remain internal stuff to it

without considering the iphone 7 plus

still so obviously that was just the

beginning of the biggest difference

between the iPhone 6S and 7 is the

antenna band placement and waterproof

water resistance which I mean

it's not the end-all be-all and waiting

til the iPhone 8 could possibly being

much smarter decision i'm at number two

Same resolution displays the

iPhone 7 has by 1434 I was 326

pixels per inch pixel per inch density

so it's not right now trade it comes

Billy a your folks it was hanging with

the leasing of changing display but it

didn't move the flagship Android this

place have 4k displays the iphone 7 is

just it's kind of compare Lee

comparatively display is puny we're

hoping that is common for case like did

not i'm actually most likely will not

either but how you can hope so yeah Rick

we got your design and same resolution

display I think we're pretty much right

just there are we

now that it's not exactly 1725 the

iphone 7 and the nvidia why the choice

to wait and possibly purchase the iphone

8 next your wireless charging so I

forgive me headphone jack so Roxy or one

port is used for the two peripheral

peripherals about charging and charging

and data transfer or looking to music so

without wireless charging move with with

which most I a lot

samsung devices have kind of choices

because you can't listen to music I

headphones were music through your

lightning port your landing port and

charge the same time so that's cause

little bit i don't know and your guests

the opportunity and the next I at that

through what we have for now so in ages

for gay rights to some devices having

even six gigabytes of ram the iphone

mere to device is not pulling up and

standard of the in the end the industry

standard why I didn't know somebody that

you're going to use from a trance 649

foot and I feel if you would argue that

but with asked and developers using more

process of training with okay without up

with using more taxing and strenuous ass

and being on the iphone it's becoming

inevitable have a device that has over

two gigabytes around so a 15-point got a

bit disappointing and what it may start

to slow down the aisle

with a with that little friend

comparatively and finally number five no

headphone jack so last but not least one

of the biggest reasons just right fit

for the dining scene but we just like I

will not be able to use your rest of

wired headphones on if there's that you

just hang out just happy that invited me

maybe old beach or something like that

but if you lose after from Hexham to

like Earth from a have 3.5 with it now

it's letting the 3.5 millimeter

headphone jack so if you think that

Donald or nine another dining dollars in

a very small very easy to lose anyway I

mean hashtag dongle library dango dango

for days but yes you can

music and charges at the same time so

that's nothing a problem as i mentioned

with you are charging again nine dollars

every time you use that adapter to use

five reasons why should not buy the

iphone 7 as I just can't argue by the

iphone 8 or we'll have to see it to

believe it will be a different design

hopefully will be a better resolution

hopefully we'll have wireless charging I

and also hopefully we will have a brand

bump obviously you're not bringing his

backpack but hopefully there will be an

easy transition to to watch uh water

systems in the future in our community

but i gotta suck off today I'm i hope

you enjoyed this video I'm probably

making one to use for the iphone 7 or

remote doesn't like that i don't know

the observation by the new seven because

violence four percent of the reluctant

community but uh maybe another another

focus device like shit tonight

ok so now I gotta talk to have a great

guys enjoyed this video make sure to

like and comment

low for future videos you'd like me to

make you not here to make sure to

subscribe for more often text videos and

yes
