Do you know where to find great local food in Samui?

In Samui, one of the very famous local dessert is this - 'Kalamare'.

In English, we call it 'Coconut Caramel'.

So, the look is like this.

And here, at this shop, they have 3 flavours of Kalamare.

This one is original flavour.

Let me try!

Umm...they have sesame, if you like to add.

This one, the second flavour, it's from 'Pandan Leaves'.

So, just dip...and it became like this.

Umm..looks very good.

It smells so good!

And the third flavour, they call 'Black Sticky Rice' flavour.

You shouldn't miss trying this delicious local dessert - 'Kalamare'.

For Thai people, we call Samui Island 'Coconut Island', because it's very famous for coconut,

and there are many kinds of food and dessert that is made from coconut.

I'm gonna try local coconut ice cream.

They have special kinds of toppings which are peanut, pineapple, banana, pumpkin, sweet potato, and sticky rice.

I will recommend this. I love sticky rice with coconut ice cream.

And it's locally made here in Samui.

Every time that come down to Southern Thailand, I order this - 'Phuk Liang Phad Khai'.

This is local food.

In English, it's called 'Stir-fried Liang Vegetables with Eggs'.

And you can find some garlic too.

This is a very local food because this kind of vegetable, Phak Liang - they grow here in southern Thailand

So in other parts of Thailand or in any other places, we can hardly find this menu.

So, it's a must try menu that you can't miss.

Another recommended menu is this one.

It's called 'Tom Som Pla Tu'.

In English, it is Southern Thai Style Mackerel Sour Soup.

It's quite a long name, but this is a very local food that you can only find in Southern Thailand.

This is Mackerel - in Thai, it's 'Pla Tu'.

And for the soup, it's yellow because one of the ingredients is turmeric.

And, they mix a lot of healthy ingredients in, like galangal, kaffir leaves, lemon grass, and many other herbs.

So, it's kind of healthy menu.

Let's try! Umm...

You can smell the herbs. The taste is quite unique.

A little sour, not spicy.

You have to be careful about fish bones.

You just remember the name of the menu and you can order anywhere, here in Samui.

Khob Khun Krub (Thank you).

After a long adventure day here in Samui, it's good idea to end up your day with dinner by the beach.

'Sabieng Lae' is a great choice. It's a local restaurant with a lot of great local food.

This one, I would recommend to you

because it's a must-eat menu.

It's called 'Deep Fried King Prawn with Tamarind Sauce'.

Also, if you order this menu, you also support local community

because the prawn is from the fisherman's village nearby.

And for tamarind sauce, you can find in a lot of Thai food, such as Phad Thai, or any other food.

And with its sour taste, it's really good.

Alright. I think it's time for dinner.

Let's try this first. Oohh!!!

They also decorate the dish with this dried chili.

And I love dried chili.

And don't forget tamarind sauce. Put it into the prawn. Alright.

Let's try some of it.

Ummm...let me try the prawn first.

I'm already hungry already, so...prawn is juicy. They're very healthy prawns.

And the tamarind sauce flavour is quite strong.

This is very local food menu here in Samui.

It's called 'Wai Kua'.

Wai is a Southern Thai language that means 'mini octopus' or 'baby octopus'.

Baby Octopus, in Thai, the local people say 'Pla Muek Sai'.

And put it into this coconut soup.

But, the soup is 'Kua', that means it's not really soup with a lot of liquid, but with less liquid.

So, you don't need to put it in a bowl. You can eat it with rice.

And moreover, they put some herbs..Thai herbs in such as lemon grass, red onion, to make it more tasty.

Alright. Let's don't waste time! Taste it!

You can see it's from coconut again.

We're on 'Coconut Island', so a lot of food has coconut as ingredient.

Alright.

I can feel the good smell, the good flavour of coconut.

And also the stickiness of this baby octopus.

It's unique taste. I do not think you can find in other beach towns. Just here in Samui.

And this one, it's also very local .

The locals say 'Kang Kua Hed Lub'.

You already know that 'Kua' is a kind of soup with less liquid.

And 'Hed Lub' is a kind of Sea Flowers you can find here around Samui, in the deep blue sea.

They use 'Hed Lub' as a main ingredient.

And they put some spices and herbs, like chilli paste.

Especially this one - 'Yi-Raa' or Caraway.

They use caraway leaves as an ingredient as well.

And I'm warning you that this is Southern Thai Styled food, so it's spicy.

But I love spicy food. Let's try!

Alright.....and some of the curry.

Umm...because of the spiciness, it tastes really good.

But if you cannot eat too much spicy food, you can just tell the restaurant that you need it less spicy.

They can adjust for you.

The Only Women On The FBI's Most Wanted List - Duration: 5:17.

Since 1950, over 500 criminals have earned the dubious distinction of being named to

the FBI's top ten most wanted list, but only ten of them have been women.

What did these women do that was terrible enough to make them some of our nation's most

feared fugitives from justice?

Here's a look at the only women on the FBI's most wanted list.

Ruth Eisemann-Schier

In December of 1968, almost two full decades after the FBI's Most Wanted list's creation,

Ruth Eisemann-Schier became the first woman to appear on it.

The crime?

She and her boyfriend, Gary Stephen Krist, kidnapped a young woman named Barbara Mackle

and buried her alive after demanding a half million-dollar ransom.

Hard to believe, but the story actually had a happy ending.

Well — as happy an ending as a story like this can have.

Eisemann-Schier and Krist kept Mackle alive inside her coffin via a breathing tube and

she was safely rescued after several days below the earth.

Eisemann-Schier spent three months on the lam before being caught and sent to jail.

After serving four years in prison, she was deported to her native Honduras.

Marie Dean Arrington

In 1968, upset at public defender Bob Pierce for failing to win a case and keep her sons

out of jail, Marie Dean Arrington went to his office with the intent to kill him.

Pierce wasn't there, but his secretary, June Ritter, was.

That was close enough for Arrington, who kidnapped Ritter, shot her multiple times, and ran her

over with her own car.

After being arrested, Arrington managed to escape from prison and, in 1969, landed on

the Most Wanted list.

It wasn't until December of 1971 that she was finally caught, and she eventually died

in prison.

Susan Saxe and Katherine Power

This unlikely pair landed on the Most Wanted list together in 1970, after participating

in a bank robbery in Massachusetts that left a police officer dead.

Roommates at Brandeis University, Susan Saxe and Katherine Power were sucked into a harebrained

scheme to steal money in order to buy guns for the Black Panthers.

Instead, the job went bad and both went on the run.

Saxe remained at large for five years before being caught and sent to prison.

Power, on the other hand, completely evaded authorities until 1993, when, suffering from

a guilty conscience, she finally turned herself in.

She pled guilty to armed robbery and manslaughter, and served six years in prison before being

released.

Donna Jean Willmott

In 1987, Donna Jean Willmott and her beau Claude Daniel Marks earned a rare double spot

on the Most Wanted list, becoming the first couple to do so.

These two weren't exactly Bonnie and Clyde, though.

During a scheme to blow up the federal penitentiary in Leavenworth, Kansas, to free a radical

Puerto Rican political figure, Willmott and Daniel attempted to purchase explosives from

an undercover FBI agent.

Whoops.

They went underground, changed their identities, and were living peacefully under assumed names

when they finally surrendered to authorities in 1994.

Shauntay L. Henderson

Kansas City gangster Shauntay L. Henderson holds the record as the woman who stayed on

the Most Wanted list for the shortest period of time.

Added to the list on March 31, 2007 for murdering a man at a gas station, Henderson was caught

later that same day.

Authorities believe she was involved in at least five other murders, but have been unable

to prove it.

Still, one killing was enough to land her 17 years in prison, where she remains today.

Brenda Delgado

It reads like a bad telenovela, but the shocking crime that landed Brenda Delgado on the Most

Wanted list in 2016 was all too real.

Jealous of her ex-boyfriend's new relationship, Delgado hired hit men to murder his new girlfriend,

dentist Kendra Hatcher.

"Police say the suspected hit man, seen on this surveillance camera leaving the scene,

was promised drugs in exchange for killing Hatcher."

Known by the press as "The Jilted Lover," Delgado fled to Mexico after the killing,

but Mexican authorities, working in conjunction with the FBI, tracked her down and brought

her in.

Shanika S. Minor

Later on in 2016, Shanika S. Minor became the tenth woman to land on the Most Wanted

list, after the shocking murder of pregnant neighbor Tamecca Perry.

After Minor's mother complained that Perry was playing music too loud, Minor went after

Perry with an automatic weapon.

Minor's mother managed to defuse the situation temporarily, but early the next morning, Minor

shot Perry at point-blank range in front of Perry's children.

Both Perry and her unborn child died.

"Minor is being sought for her alleged involvement in first degree intentional homicide."

Minor went on the run, and was caught less than a week after being added to the Most

Wanted list.

Angela Davis

One of the most famous cases in FBI history was Angela Davis.

In 1970, Davis was a political activist and professor at UCLA when several guns she had

purchased were used in a violent courtroom takeover that left a judge and three others

dead.

Since she had purchased the weapons, she was charged with murder.

Soon, she went on the run and became a cause célèbre, as many people believed she was

being targeted for her political beliefs.

John Lennon and Yoko Ono even wrote a protest song about her, as did the Rolling Stones.

She was finally arrested and brought to trial, but a jury found her not guilty and cleared

her of all charges.

She has since written several books, and remains a noted educator and activist to this day.

Bernardine Dohrn

Like Angela Davis before her, Bernardine Dohrn was a political activist.

She was also a domestic terrorist, leading the radical left-wing organization called

the Weather Underground, which bombed the Pentagon, the Capitol, and several police

stations in the late 1960s and early 70s.

"The group promises more attacks on the establishment around the entire country, starting next week.

The medium for this message was a tape recording, reputedly by the fugitive Weatherman leader

Bernardine Dohrn."

In 1970, after going into hiding, Dohrn landed on the Most Wanted list.

She was removed from the list in 1973 after charges against her were dismissed, but she

didn't emerge from hiding until 1980, when she turned herself in.

After serving a year in jail, she studied law and spent over two decades as an adjunct

at the Northwestern University School of Law.

today's vlog we have something awesome

plan let's go outside into a Carter Sharer is up to.

Carter what are you up to working on the

World's Biggest Hoverboard to point out

oh yeah if you guys haven't seen our

last vlog where we created we took this

Worlds Largest Hoverboard and we made it the World's

Biggest Hoverboard uh we put these jumbo

size wheels on it was totally epic and

it totally worked which was so

surprising and the craziest part about

it was held together with quick ties and

duct tape.

The funny thing was that the end of the

vlog the Funk Bros Hoverboard just fell apart all

at once. Oh so we decided to go back to

the drawing boards we ordered some parts

we got some chrome rims we're going to

customize the World's largest Hoverboard

and make it more durable. Carter what's

the next step we're going to upgrade the

World's Biggest Hoverboard and replace

the tie wraps with plywood a lot

stronger so we're making a cardboard

stencil for the plywood attachment. Now

that we outlined it

let's cut it out now let's cut out let's

turn it into a plywood absolutely

breathing today so we got a huge

jetstream heater on making it so much

warmer in this garage harder is

carefully using the compass

figure out the circumference of the

wheel now that we've got things a little

more organized Carter explain exactly

what our ideas so now that we have our

cardboard stencil and this stencil is

going to be the exact shape of our

plywood wheel clamps so this will fit

perfectly on the wheel and we'll make

two of these one that goes here and one

that goes there that will clamp the

wheel so now what we're going to do is

use our stencil ever going to cut it out

of this plywood by tracing it out and

then using a jigsaw to cut it out this

stencil is going to sit on the tire it

is now time to cut our traces out so.

Carter is currently changing the blades

on this band saw from a metal blade to a

wood blades we can cut the stencils out

this is the metal blade time to put this

away that we could save it for later

couldn't figure out how to fold it up

very well well so we got our would set

we got our sauce set now we just need to

turn our vacuum cleaner on so when we

cut all this Saul stuff and the sawdust

comes out it falls into here and get

sucked up in the vacuum cleaner so we

some extra parts for this Nerf Gun air

cannon to make sure it can shoot even

wheel to that wooden piece both sides

are complete we now have a wagon wheel

Worlds Largest Hoverboard here comes the monster truck

tires before we stick this Worlds Biggest Hoverboard

onto these giant wheels we figured out

we need one more steps to Carter is

using a compass to trace his last piece

of wood that is going to cut out

attach the circle piece onto the wooden

and we got to attach it on and we should

to attach the other wood and then we

Hello everyone PPOMO here!

It's been a long time since we last chatted!

In this video, I wish to put a hair cap on you, and just chit-chat about random things while I touch you're head and ears.

Recently I've been doing a lot of none-talking videos since many of my viewers seem to like them.

I'm not so sure if any of you are curious of my daily life,

but I thought some of you might actually want to see a video of me talking a lot once in a while.. hehe

So I will try to be as talkative as possible for today!

First, this is the hair cap which will be the sound for the day.

I bought this at Daiso(dollar store)

because I thought the purple stars were really cute and it sounded cheerful without being too noisy.

So, I will be slowly covering the hair cap,

and let's talk random things

while I touch you're head with a hair cap on

and I'll use a tool.

I hope you like it.

I was really surprised with the cold weather these days!

It became so harsh just when I started to think this winter wasn't so cold this time.

How were you guys doing?

I was staying warm in my recording booth.

It usually gets very stuffy and unventilated, but it becomes such a cozy cavern in the winters XD.

But for the same reason, I'm also very worried about the upcoming summer lol

So... I've been doing live streaming once a weak, and people from all over the world has joined to see me. :)

I was amazed with the number of people... and obviously still struggling a lot with my bad English and Japanese.

I wonder how many years it will take for me to get better?

I do not know for how long I can continue making ASMR contents..

But I really hope I could continue with the video making and drawing as long as possible.

On another day, I was having a family meal, and my sister started a serious conversation.

"What do you think of the life span for what you do? Do you actually believe that the viewers would always be waiting for you're videos?"

and it got me into some really deep thinking.

Before I started streaming on Youtube and Twitch, I used to be on a Korean platform called Afreeca TV.

But I ended up having to leave Afreeca TV because of a bad incident,

however my precious viewers moved along with me.

And I wondered, what if one day the same things happen again with Youtube? Will we still be connected like how we are now..?

Will I successfully manage to settle down on a new platform

if one day Youtube somehow ends service?

Will everything be okay?

What if time goes by and I get really old,

would everything still be fine if I keep trying to make contents that are more fitting to my age? I got really worried in many ways.

However, no matter what happens, I will always remember you all who gave me such high ratings with my work.

Even if they were only a temporary thing, or a quick comment passing by, they meant a lot to me :)

Suddenly reminds me of a japanese song, called "Would you still love me if I'm old".

I might be greedy, but I do hope that you guys like me the way you do now when I become "ajumma"(Old lady in Korean). XD tehehe.

mm.. and maybe because spring is approaching?

These days I've really been in love with pastel-type colors. Like the ones on Macarons :D I guess preferences do change after all.

I used to keep a very brusque personality, and only prefer dark colors like black or red.

Of course I still love the color black but I really started to like cute colors like pink, cream, and mint etc..

Have you guys experienced any recent great changes like I did?

Being on a diet is such a hard task.

I've always been conscious of my body not being fit, so I tried out diet methods and cut off snacks.

Then, my gosh, I was constantly dreaming about being in a dessert shop or visualizing random chocolate making videos!

Guess what I did in my dreams XD

I ate soooo much dessert knowing that it was a only a dream hahhahhah

Then when I woke up, it came back to me with all these negative feelings, with a realization that cutting out yummy things will only make my life miserable lol XD!

But then again, not being able to wear cute clothes are also a big issue, so I should really try to be in control. lol

So I shared my recent days and thoughts with you in a long time.
